During the trip*

Seven's POV

"Is it secured now?" Tanong sa akin ni Twelve One mula sa kabilang linya, tinawagan ko siya gamit ang telepono rito sa bahay na nililibot ko ang loob.

"Yup. I also scattered some bugs along the way." Sagot ko sa kaniya at sinabi ang mga ginawa ko bago siya tawagan.

"Good. Now let's just wait and gather our preys." Tugon niya sa akin at mula sa kabilang linya ay naririnig ko ang mga boses ni Ki at Ko na batid kong kumakain na naman ng paborito nilang delikasiya.

"How about our plan?" Tanong pa nito sa akin at bahagyang kumunot ang aking noo. Aling plano kaya ang tinutukoy niya?

"What plan?" Tanong ko sa kaniya at narinig ko naman at mahinang pagmumura nito at isang singhal.

"The plan about your girl, damnit!" Asik niya sa akin at bahagya kong inilayo ang aking tainga sa telepono dahil napalakas ang pagkakasabi niya noon.

"Are you really going to push it through?" Alalang tanong ko sa kaniya dahil alam ko kung sino ang tinutukoy niya, at iyon ay si Rei Xiu, wala ng iba.

"Are you freaking playing with me, seven?!" Galit na bulalas nito sa akin at napailing na lamang ako dahil sa kaniyang mainitin na ulo. Obviously I was asking her if she's serious about it because I know no one can go against her decision, but I like Rei Xiu...

I can't see her getting hurt. But damn I'm trapped here.

"Okay, okay, the plan is ready, we just need to wait for it to be executed." Pagpapakalma ko sa kaniya.

"Good!"

Magsasalita pa sana ako nang makarinig ako ng mga boses sa ibaba kaya tinakpan ko ang speaker ng telepono at pinakinggan mabuti ang ingay sa baba, sa tingin ko ay may mga estudyante na nandito para tingnan ang bahay na ito.

Damn! I haven't even started the procedure, dapat pala ginawa ko muna bago tumawag.

"Hey, I gotta go, someone might hear us talking here." Pagpapaalam ko sa kaniya at pinutol na ang linya ng aming usapan. I shouldn't get caught here whoever are they.

Kinuha ko ang aking bag na nasa lapag at maingat itong isinukbit sa aking likod at naglakad patungo sa labas upang tumakas. Tsk, my bad for not starting the procedure.

Hay, ito talagang si Kristine napakadaldal lalo na kapag nagiging dramatic. Nalaman tuloy ni Rei Xiu na I'm just adopted, but I don't think she's the type of person na mabilis mang husga.

I was awake the whole time they were talking, I just pretended to sleep because I didn't want to share my past with them—it's not because I don't trust them, but because it hurts me and it keeps hunting me.

The scream of my twin sister in pain always echoes in dream, even the cry of my parents for mercy cross my mind every day.

My parents were killed ruthlessly by thieves, who robbed me everything not only my wealth but also my family. I was child back then and got no control over my power that's why I could only saved myself. My twin sister? She was taken from me.

They took her because she would cost a lot to the magic market since she's got the power to talk to someone using her mind. After that, a couple passed by our house and saw the heinous crime the thieves did to my parents.

They just got back from the funeral of their only daughter that was killed by a vampire, and upon seeing me as the only one alive, they adopted me and there I had a new life, and new family. That's how I met Kristine. She's the opposite of my twin sister as she has the ability to protect her mind from everything.
