i went through a bunch of mental training before i could physically train with the handguns. they weren't as hard to use as i thought. it was almost as if they were too easy to handle, and i couldn't put my finger on why. regardless, what mattered was that i minded my own business, and i wasn't pissing anyone off. as of right now, i was laying on the floor in the middle of my room with absolutely no idea what to do.

"ange— what are you doing?" ashton laughed as he entered my room.

"slowly dying of boredom, nothing out of the ordinary." i sighed. "what's up?"

"i dunno, got bored too, i guess." he shrugged. "how's the floor?"

"flat." i giggled. "helps your back, though."

"you know, there's a party tonight." ashton mentions, causing me to sit up. "not so bored now, huh?"

"it sounds interesting, sure, but i don't think i'll go." i said. "the last time i went out, things didn't end well."

"i get why you're hesitant, but like i said, you're safe here." ashton reassures me. "and you should go. make calum shake in his boots."

"you say that like it should be funny." i say. "i'm not to ever stand in his way, and by steering clear of him, and his business that he's yet to make me aware of, is what will happen. besides, even if i were to go, all i have is my training clothes and two pairs of pyjamas."

"hold that thought." ashton says, whipping out his phone. "luke? call michael and both the girls."

that's when luke bursts into the room with the really sparkly sunglasses on?

"get in bitches, we're going shopping!"

"shopping?" i question as i rose from the ground.

"with michael and i's girlfriends." luke states. "they're already in the van, come on."
