Chenle's Birthday Party

"Wake up...Y/n. Wake up!"
"Hmm?" I wake up half asleep to see the one and only Lisa brightly smiling at me. I gasp.
"Lisa!"
"You ready?"
"For what?"
"For Chenle's birthday party duh!"
"Oh shit! Im so glad you woke me up."
"Your welcome, Your brother told me youd be here, probably sleeping in. So I came early just in case, and I'm glad I did."
And so we got take our time getting ready with both hair and make up.
"God what should I wear?! I have never been to a party before.."
"Y/n calm down Ill pick you something from your closet..Im sure you have something in here, hold on.." Lisa suddenly gasps.
"What, what is it. Is it a spider!?!"
"Oh no girl, I found something. You definitely should wear this." She pulls out the dress Mark gave me.
"Lisa..oh no...its too short.. too inappropriate for a small birthday party.."
"Stop. Your overreacting. Besides its kinda the only dress you have.. You have no choice. Plus, you have the body to pull it off! Wouldn't you like to prance around confidently looking like a Goddess making Mark wish he was with you instead of Felix?"
I smirk, "Your right.. besides I guess I do look pretty good in it."
"Thats the spirit!"
With the dress in hand I place it on my body and immediately head down stairs.
"John!! Hurry we have to get there or we will be late!!"
"Im coming- uh. Why are you wearing that? Is that the dress Mark bought for you?"
Lisa smiles. "Yes doesnt it look great on her?"
"I dont know y/n. Its very uh- Short.."
"Come on Johnny, shes not even going to be around Mark remember. She will never wear it agian besides shes old enough." Johnny thinks for a second.
"Hmm, I guess.. But I swear if something happens and someone trys anything, I'm grounding your ass even you Lisa."
We both put our hands up in defeat, "Yes sir."
We soon leave jamming out to the latest hits and singing along to them. My mind was clear and at ease, because at this point I was happy living simply carefree. Finally I had pushed everything aside, and I planned to keep it that way.
"We are here!!! Look at all the people." Lisa shouts.
"Chenle must be really popular..." I add.
As we get out Jaehyun approached us.
"Hey you two look great!" He winks at us and Lisa turns red from embarrassment.
"Especially you Y/n.."
"Thanks Jae, Wheres Chenle?" I ask.
"In the living area with Jisung and Felix."
I run to the house and make my way through the crowd to Chenle who sits on the sofa smiling and chatting with Jisung.
"Chenle!" I yell to him. At first he looks confused and looks around the area until his eyes land on me.
"Y/n! You made it!."
Chenle gets up and hugs me really tight.
"Thank you for coming!"
"Thank you for inviting me."
We break the hug.
"Come on sit with us! We have been waiting for you!" He drags me to the sofa with Jisung and Felix.
"Y/n!?" Felix looks at me in awe, "You look great."
"Thanks." I blush.
Felix stares at me for abit than opens he mouth to speak but he is cut off.
"You wore the dress, the one I got you..I didnt think you ever use it."
I turn looking to my side to see Mark, who stands there perplexed with a red solo cup in hand.
"So.."
"You look beautiful..Im glad you wore it, that dress really suits you.."
Before I could say anything someone calls him.
"Mark! Yo check this out."
He looks at the friend who calls out to him and softly smiles.
"Ill see you guys later. Happy Birthday Chenle."
Mark leaves us and I stare blankly into space thinking. Why didnt he wink or cat call me like he normally does..? He sounded casual and sincere, like he wasn't even trying to make a joke. Normally, he would stay and bother me as well but he left with out another word. Why didn't he stay?
"Y/n?"
"Yeah, Chenle?"
"Dont let Mark get to you."
Felix jumps in, "Yeah, dont think about him. You should just enjoy your time here with us. In fact, come on! lets go dance."
"Woah, wait. But Felix, I cant dance for the life of me!" He grabs my hand and pulls me into the crowd despite my pleading.
"Its my Party, so you have to! Not buts!" Chenle says pushing me out onto the floor as well.
After a bit of silly dancing with my friends, we decided to sit back down. Chenle speaks out of breath,  I'll be back, I need a water."
"Ill go with." Jisung adds. They leave us there. Just the two of us. Me and Felix.
"Are you having fun?" He asks.
I nod back as an answer. "All of this moving around is making me feel hot.."
He laughs and stands up holding his hand out to me.
"Lets go outside to the back for some fresh air, while we wait for them to get back."
"Alright."
