-Garroth's POV-
**A month later**

I emerge from the dressing room in my tux and light blue tie. Most of the other guys are all out, too; the only person missing is Laurance. He's probably either fixing his tie or stuck staring at himself in the mirror.

And really, who can blame him if it's the later?

"Lookin' good, Gar." Travis whistles as I approach.

"Someone's trying to 'dress to impress', hm?" Dante teases and I just roll my eyes at him.

"Shut up," I mutter and both chuckle. I glance at Aaron, who's standing near Blaze, Daniel, and Rylan. His expression is blank as he just stares off into space. He's nervous, obviously, since it is his wedding day.

"You doing okay, Aaron?" I ask him and he blinks to snap himself out of his daze.

"Huh? Oh...y-yeah. I just..." He takes a breath. "...I can't believe this is actually happening."

"Would've happened a lot sooner if there weren't some—" Dante glances at me. "—unexpected casualties."

"Very funny." I notice Zane glaring at, presumably, Laurance's dressing room. "And speaking of casualties, where's Laurance?"

Travis chuckles: "How many times have we asked that question?"

"Not enough, apparently, since he always goes missing," Blaze remarks.

"I feel like that's just normal now," Dante says. "'Where's Laurance?' and now 'Where's Garroth?' are just commonly used phrases on the street."

"Okay, I think you've made it pretty clear you're annoyed at us leaving all the time."

"But seriously though, man—" Travis wrings an arm around my shoulders— "are you two dating yet or what? We're all in suspense here."

My face heats up tremendously.

"Yeah, come on! It's been, like, a month since you two came back from Tu'La. You obviously kissed, so what's the problem?"

"You're being too loud!" I whisper/shout, eyes darting to Laurance's dressing room in a panic. "Things are just...awkward right now. I don't know... Anyway, that's not important! Today is not about me or Laurance so let's just drop the subject, okay?"

I get a few eye rolls, but no one pushes me further. A sigh escapes me and I'm not sure if it's from relief or sadness.

Things have definitely been awkward between us since the kiss. We haven't really talked about it because we're both awkward and hate confrontation, but I know we have to at some point. I'm not going to live my life with this weird, romantic tension hanging over us.

We haven't even slept in the same bed, for heavens sake! Things are weird!

Laurance's door opening interrupts my panicked thoughts and out steps the man himself and— Irene, he's hot...

His black suit fits him perfectly, his emerald green tie hangs loose around his neck. The smug look on his face makes me drool, as if he just knows how good he looks. I can't stop staring.

His eyes meet mine and I'm frozen stiff. I have to look away. My heart is pounding in my ears, my hands are clammy, and I probably look like a hot mess. No, not hot. No one's hot with Laurance nearby. I'm just a mess. One cute boy has turned me into a heart-shaped puddle on the floor.

"Looks like there's more than one trying to impress a certain someone today, hm?"

Dante, shut up...
