~Sixteen~

Leigh's party was tonight and she wanted Bailey, Mallory and I to come over before the party started.

I had a fast shower before Bailey came home from work and finished getting ready in my room.

I changed into a maroon coloured bow bandeau and light blue high waisted shorts. I applied my usual makeup and loosely curled my hair.

Bailey, Mallory and I arrived at Leigh's around 6:30. Leigh had dinner ready for us and everything, she made macaroni and cheese.

People started to arrive a few hours later and the first guests to arrive were Sam, Nate and the Jacks.

"I missed you" I played with the multicoloured pocket on Sam's shirt.

"We spent the whole day together yesterday" He ran his hand up and down my back.

"I know" I smiled and pecked his lips.

"You look hot in this little outfit" Sam looked me up and down.

"Thanks" I blushed.

"Oh and I'll be by your side the whole night. I don't want any boys to hit on you" He said.

"And I'll be by your side, I don't want any girls hitting on you or flaunting their boobs in front of you" I winked.

Sam let out a small laugh and kissed my forehead.

Not long after the boys arrived a slew of people came through the door.

Around 8:20 the house was packed with people.

"I'm going to go grab a drink, do you want one?" I asked Sam.

"Yea, I'll come with you" He stood up from the couch.

He placed his hand on the small of my back and stayed close as we walked into the kitchen.

I poured Sam some beer into a red solo cup and poured myself a drink.

"Hey Sam!" A girl with short black hair flirtatiously said.

I brushed my hand against Sam's and he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Hey Kiana" Sam replied.

I tuned out of their conversation and looked around the kitchen to see if I spotted Bailey or Nate.

"Oh hey Lux" A random boy said to me.

"Uhm hi?" I leaned into Sam more.

"Do you want to come outside? Bailey's looking for you" He leaned against the counter.

I looked up at Sam who nodded.

"Kiana I'll talk to you later okay?" Sam politely said.

"No! You have to come with me there's someone who wants to see you" She exclaimed.

Before I knew it Sam was being pulled away by 2 girls and I was being pulled into the backyard by this boy.

"Lux! There you are!" Bailey stood up and took my hand.

She pulled me around the corner of the house and stopped abruptly.

"Where's Sam?" She furrowed her brow.

"He got pulled away by a couple girls" I shrugged and looked at the ground.

"Oh okay, anyways Mark's here and he brought Sam's ex girlfriend Cara" She crossed her arms.

I rubbed my temples and said thanks to Bailey. Not only did I have to worry about Sam getting into a fight with Mark but I also had to worry about Cara.

I trust that Sam wouldn't do anything with her but if Mark is trying to break us up I don't know what he would do.

"Let's go sit around the fire, I'm sure Sam will be back soon" Bailey reassured me.

I nodded and sat beside her and Johnson at the fire.

Around 10:00 the party started to get out of hand.

There had been 3 fights, numerous bottles smashed and lots of drunk boys hitting on every girl at the party.

"I'm gonna go look for Sam okay?" I tapped Bailey's knee before standing up.

"Okay I'll come with you" She smiled.

"Me too" Nate piped up.

I walked into the house first with Bailey and Nate behind me.

I maneuvered through people and eventually ended up in the living room.

I went to say something to Bailey but when I turned around her and Nate were no where to be seen.

"Lux! There you are!" Mark shouted.

Before I could say anything Mark took my hand and pulled me through a group of people and over to a white door.

"What are you doing?" I jerked my hand away from him.

"Mark!" I heard Nate yell before Mark placed his hand on my back.

Mark pushed me through the door and slammed it behind me. My body hit something hard and I smelled a familiar cologne. Mark turned the light on from outside the door and I felt my heart drop.
