Harry followed Severus through deep underbrush as the man looked for a place to spend the night, he was being picky mumbling about too dangerous or deer trail. Harry was staring at the man's ass, free of his billowing robes clad in fitted pants Harry's eyes were glued to the tight butt. He wanted to just...grab them. He was quite surprised when he did indeed grab the man's ass, looking up guilty he was met with an amused look with a single eyebrow raised. "Can't keep your hands to yourself for too long can you potter" It wasn't a question and harry decided to hell with it and gave a few loving squeezes before turning back into his other form. Snape gave a chuckle and eventuality pointed to a small cave on the other side of a ravine. "Over there" Harry knelt down for Severus to get on before taking a running jump clearing the drop and walking into the shallow cave. " we will spend the night and tomorrow find a home...somewhere" Severus was laying his arms around the stallion's neck when harry decided to do something very intimate. He touched his silver horn to Severus's forehead. Severus flopped leaning back from the zap of power, dark mane fluttering around his large head defined nostrils flaring.

"POTTER!" Severus squealed in a high-pitched whinny. Harry was up and back in seconds looking down at the intimidatingly big black horse sitting on the ground just in time to avoid a bite. For the next few seconds, Severus worked on standing and walking muttering about stupid boys and damn potter bloody twit. Harry waited quietly.

"....you make a very nice stud though" Severus got a playful look about him as he moved in close to harry. "Oh, I'm a stud huh? Want me to breed you harry? You would be a stunning mare" He gave a gentle nip to Harry's flank before moving away. "Sorry potter I'm not into that its sex as humans or nothing" Harry was dazed for a second before he registered Severus's words. "Wait! Eeh no nononononono im not ether....wait as humans?" Harry liked the sound of that. "We will deal with this new mess tomorrow" The two stallions laid down together and slowly fell asleep nuzzled into one another.
morning found Severus waiting for harry when he woke.
"I didn't think to say this yesterday harry but happy birthday for yesterday"
the horse looked away but his ears were still trained on harry.
"wait birthday? mines before school starts"
Severus snorted.
"you really didn't learn anything in animal form, it has been a year"
"but my friends and other kids are still at school"
Severus looked back huffing.
"potter the headmaster offered for the students to stay as a safety precaution, the death eaters have been even more active, many parents have taken him up on the offer and your friends will be apprenticing with some of the staff, you are 18 as of yesterday, i would never have such a conversation or be amorous to anyone under that age"
Harry snorted.
"you forget 17 we are adults we could have been doing that all this time"
Severus rolled his eyes and got up nudging the teen from the cave.
They set out early and walked for hours however all day they kept coming back to the cave no matter who led. They bedded down for another night and repeated the ordeal two more days, they just couldn't get away from the cave. Harry huffed and sharpened his horn on the back wall, they hadn't been out that day for it was raining. Sparks flew as the silver horn was sharpened marring the stone wall. Severus ignored it, that was probably a weird unicorn thing. Suddenly with an upward stroke, his horn broke through the cave wall spooking harry who gave a big jump back with a small buck Severus's was more so impressive his powerful hind legs could reach heights Harry couldn't, Harry really didn't want to have an encounter with those huge back hooves. Once they were sure nothing would jump out at them they approached, just a black void, harry gave it another swipe which tore through nothing and opened into a stunning pasture with a garden. When harry removed his horn it disappeared but reappeared with another swipe. Before Harry could protest Severus walked inside harry followed quickly not wanting Severus to be in there alone. The door closed and the two were alone in an open warm pasture cottage and all still there.
