Celeste knew she could break throught the ice, but not the lava. She had a tough time trying to dodge and shield it. This girl had been stronger than her. Even stronger than Spiderman. He began feeling weak. His webs were being burnt through and ice cut them. He felt weak and like he wouldnt win. "Just give it up, you will never defeat someone as powerful as me!", Veronica cheered.

Suddenly a green light was thrown at Veronica's face. Spiderman and Celeste were shocked. "What was that?", he asked. Celeste knew, but wasnt gonna say. "I dont know", she said. "Who ever threw that at me, you better get ready for your funeral", Veronica hissed. More lights were thrown at her and it actually hurt her. Celeste was shocked, she never knew Loki had power stronger than hers. Veronica fell to the ground and she was about to shoot, when clones of Loki appeared around her. "What is this?", she asked. Loki was about to shoot at her, when Celeste realized Veronica was frightened.
"Stop!", she yelled. Loki and Spiderman were shocked. "What?". "What do you mean stop?", Loki growled. Celeste walked over to Veronica and she knew if she couldnt fight physically, then she would have to mentally. Celeste told Loki to move away and he asked why. "Just do as I say. Loki did, but kept his eye out for her. Veronica was shocked and Celeste put on a brave face. "If your here to destroy and bring war, then tell me...why are you afraid?". Loki was shocked and noticed Veronica trembling. Veronica was shocked and tried denying it. "Im not scared! I am here to destroy your world, so you better be afraid", she said as she threw a lava ball at Celeste. Celeste tried to shield herself, but the ball went threw and hit her shoulder, burning her skin. "Cel..", "I asked you and you better anwser me truthfully", Celeste asked. Veronica wondered what was wrong with her. Why was she not scared? Why is she worrying about her? Veronica was confused. "Veronica...if your scared, then that means you dont want to do this. So tell me why you have attacked us. It cant be because Earth is murderous", Celeste said. Veronica's eyes widened and she got mad. "I dont have to listen to you, you are just distracting me from my plans!", Veronica screamed as she got up, grabbing Celeste's wrists. "

No!", Spiderman and Loki yelled. Celeste let Veronica push and hurt her. She had to show her that she means no harm. "Dont get in the way you two. I got this!", Celeste said. "But..", Loki muttered. Spiderman understood and they both knew they had to trust her. Veronica screams and began burning Celeste's wrists. Celeste began crying from the pain, but reassured her face to look serious. Veronica was shocked and she realized the pain she put her threw. "Like I said..you dont want to do this", Celeste said. "H..how do you know?", Veronica asked. Celeste suddenly smiled and it made Veronica scared. She never had to hurt someone as they smiled. Why was she smiling? "Because I know...deep down, you are a good person", Celeste said. Veronica remembered her old self and she shook it from her head. "No..im bad! After my home was destroyed, my family, I became an assasin that killed. I am not good". "But you are good. I knew the instant you were scared", Celeste smiled. "What?", Veronica asked. "You remind me of me. I had been bullied you know. All my life, ive been tormented everyday, but I lived with it. I never fought back because I was a good person. That was until...I found out I had these powers. I knew that with these powers I would be someone my parents would be proud of. I fought back to protect the people I cared for and loved, I never used them on someone for vengance or hate. I am not that person", Celeste said. Veronica was shocked and she called Celeste stupid. "You should have killed those people that bullied you. They truly deserve to die!", Veronica yelled. Celeste nodded no and said she is not a villian, but a hero. Veronica got irritated by her and put her hand on her throat, choking her.
