Ch. 24: The Monster Inside

Normal POV

Everyone came at Anthony with full force. They all teamed up to hit him and bring him down. But as always, he got back up. "Dammit, he's too strong", Leonardo groaned. "Yeah..we just need to figure out how to hurt him..", Spiderman said. Everyone was in breath and Anthony smirked. "Aww giving up?", he asked. "No way in hell am I giving up!", Loki said. Thor smirked and gathered lightening from the sky. "Lets do this Crystal. You and me, lets bring this blonde jerk down!". Crystal smirked and gathered lightening, they put their hammers together, charging at him. Anthony's eyes widened and he smiled. "Bring it sis". They swung the hammers, making a strong wind blow in his face. With him blinded, their lightening shot towards him, hitting his chest. Anthony flew into the air and he screamed as he was getting shocked. Crystal didnt stop after that blow. She didnt care if he was her brother, she had to make sure he didnt get back up. Crystal gathered more lightening and shot at him fast, getting close to him. Thor was shocked and knew how she felt. Crystal hit him repeativily and stopped when she thought he had enough. Crystal was in breath and watched, and waited. She knew he may get up and had her hammer up incase. Suddenly a red light shot at Crystal, making her fly back. "Crystal!". "No!". Leo and Thor got concerned and got angry at Anthony as he rose up. "This guy is really getting on my nerves", Ironman said.

"Its just one guy, why cant we stop him?", Captain asked. "He's like...immortal. He keeps getting back up no matter what we throw at him", Hawkeye said. "We need a plan, not sure if we are enough to stop him", Black Widow said. "Oh we are enough and as for our plan..its called attack", Ironman said, then he flew to Anthony, shooting beams at him. "Thats not a plan", Captain sighed.

Thor and Leonardo went to go help Crystal. They were shocked as they saw that her head was bleeding. "Chris, are you alright?", Leonardo asked. Thor was worried and grabbed her hand. "Can you move?", Thor asked. Crystal looked up at them and nodded. Thor helped her up slowly and Leo said he would heal her. "No..its just a bit of blood, besides you used a lot of energy to heal Celeste. I dont want you over working yourself", Crystal said. Leo was shocked and asked if she was sure. "Yes". "Then at least take it easy", He said. Crystal sighed and said no. "What?". "I will not let this bastard get away with anything. Even if I have to fight for it. I will fight to protect my family. I will do what I can to keep my brother from killing anyone! I am a goddess and princess of Toremheid and I have a duty to protect not just my family, but everyone!". Thor and Leonardo was shocked. Hearing Crystal say such words meant she had it. Crystal was gonna step up her game and bring it. Crystal grabbed her hammer and gathered lightening into her hammer, smashing it to the ground. "Woah!". Ironman caught himself and flew up. Anthony fell back and Crystal's body suddenly swarmed with lightening.

"Oh..my..god..", everyone muttered. Thats when the lightening changed color. Her usual blue lightening had changed to a purple and Crystal's eyes glew up. Crystal was now pissed. Thor was shocked and got a little turned on by her being so badass. Everyone watched as Crystal walked up to Anthony. He smirked as he saw his sister. "Well..look who's strong looking now. I mean, when I first saw you, I thought you looked weak, but...", Crystal got irritated and grabbed him by the throat, cutting him off. Anthony grabbed onto her hands, trying to pull them away from his neck. Crystal gripped onto him tighter, putting all of her power into it. "You will not touch my family, you will lose", Crystal said, narrowing her eyes. Anthony smirked and let out mumbles. "You..are...my f..family..you are..just like...father..you will know..one..day...". Crystals eyes widened and Anthony grabbed Crystal's head, making her release him. "Ahhh!". Crystal felt pain in her head and Thor yelled for her. Spiderman shot webs on him, making sure he wouldnt escape. Loki then made clones of himself and pointed his staff down at Anthony. Ironman flew above him and had his gun ready. "Crystal are you alright?", Thor and Leo asked. Anthony smirked and began laughing. "Look at her now. Look and see her for what she really is. She is no god, she is one of me, she is...A DARK ELF!", Anthony yelled. Crystal moved her hand from her face and everyone's eyes widened as they saw Crystal's hair turn white and her ears grew to a point.

"What did you do!?", Leo screamed. Anthony laughed again and Crystal looked down at her hands. Her skin had been paler than before and she saw that her hair was white. "No...no..this is not...me! Why did you do this? Im not one of you!", Crystal cried. Thats when Thor tried to go up to her and Crystal got scared. "No..dont touch me". "B..but..". "See her for what she truly is. She is not the Crystal you all know and love. She is a monster. She is evil!", Anthony smiled. No one knew what to say or do. They were just in shock. "Shut your mouth!". Suddenly Leonardo ran at Anthony , breaking through Loki and the rest. He grabbed Anthony by his throat. Leo transformed into his dragon side and breathed fire into his face, and he pulled Anthony's head from his body. Everyone was shocked and watched as Anthony's head had burnt to a crisp and blood dripped on the floor. "Well...good job everyone...he's dead, we did our job, lets go", Ironman said, wanting to leave before anything else happened. Leo threw Anthony's dead body to the ground and then he turned to Loki. He gave him a nod of approval and told him he could have done that. Leo scoffed and turned back to Crystal and Thor. Crystal was in shock and so was Thor. They had no words. "Chris? I dont care what that asshole had to say. You are not what he said you were. I know who you are and have seen who you've become. Even if your not blood related, you ARE our sister. You are our family and we love you no matter what". Crystal looked up at Leonardo and began to cry. She leaped into his arms and hugged him. Leo smiled and then they were interrupted by Nick Fury.

"It seems you have won the battle". "With your help, but yes, I guess we did win", Thor said. Nick went over to them and asked if they were telling the truth on protecting the world. "Yes, we protect Earth and space. It is our job", Thor said. Nick smiled and asked if they were willing to join them. "What are you asking?", Leo asked. "Im asking...if you would form an alliance with us. When we need you, you come to help protect the world from danger", Nick said. Thor smiled and he looked at his friends. "What do you say?", He asked. Crystal smiled and said she would. "I will", Leo said. "Me too!", Spiderman said, raising his hand. Thor then looked at Loki and asked if he would. Loki looked down and then back up. "I guess I will", he said. Nick smiled and the rest of the Avengers got excited. "With that said...you all are officially part of the Avengers!".
