Ch. 19: Veronica Mason

Normal POV

Celeste got to the sight and saw everyone crowding and taking pictures of the ship.

Celeste was curious to why nothing was coming out. She went up to the police and asked what was going on. "This ship showed up a few minutes ago, although we dont know what it does". "I hear ticking from it", another police officer said. Celeste's eyes widened as he said that. "BOMB!", she yelled. Everyone screamed and Celeste put up a sheild to protect everyone. "Is everyone..alright?", Celeste asked. Suddenly everyone clapped for her and the news filmed her. "That was amazing, you shielded us from that". Celeste knew they were just thankful and told them to be careful and get away from the area and get to safety. "Alright, you heard it from Red Flame herself. The bomb went off and no one was hurt, thanks to her". People backed away from the site and went indoors to watch, but the news was still near to catch something.

"What did I miss?". Celeste looked over and saw Spiderman showing up. "Spiderman has just appeared. Give it up for the hero duo", the reporter said happily. "That ship was a bomb. It blew up. The ship had to get here somehow, but how? Who could of sent it?", Celeste asked. "Id say the real question is who flew the ship and just let it blow up? They must be around waiting and watching us", Spiderman said. Celeste's eyes widened and knew he was right. Celeste looked around and she noticed a ball of orange light coming towards Spiderman. "Look out", She said, protecting him with her force field. "What was that?", he asked. Suddenly the orange light absorbed onto her field and Celeste felt a burn on her fingers. "Oww!". She dropped her hands on put her fingers in her mouth. "Are you alright?", Spiderman ask. "Yes..". They looked up as more orange lights appeared.

Celeste tried to shoot at them, but they reflected hers and they melted her flames. Celeste was shocked and Spiderman tried to shoot webs at them, but they melted through it. "What the hell are these?", Celeste asked. "I dont know", Spiderman said. The balls came at them and were about to hit them, when they froze mid air. "Whats going on?", Spiderman asked. The orange balls turned to blue ones and they fell on them. Soon it expanded on them, like a coat, it covered up where it landed. "Is this..ice?", Spiderman asked. Celeste broke out of it and shot at Spiderman to break him free. "Its definitely ice", Celeste said.

"Mwahahahaha!". They heard laughing and looked up as they saw a girl with long red/brown hair, red evil eyes, black lips, and she wore dark clothing.

She smirked down at them as she flew in the sky. "It appears someone has appeared...and they are...flying!?", the news reporter yelled in shock. Everyone watching was shocked. Who was this person? Loki had woken up from his slumber and saw Celeste was gone. He went to check her room, but she was gone. He became worried and wanted to scream, but then he heard the news on the TV. He noticed one of the two "so called heroes" abilities and knew instantly it was Celeste. "What the hell is she doing?", Loki said. Loki didnt bother to watch, he saw the threat on the TV and he had to hurry to her.

"Who are you!?", Spiderman asked. The girl looked down and she flew down to them. "Me? Well im Veronica Mason. I come from a realm where war is everything. Its the only way we survive. It has been the only way I survive. I am here to make your world my battle ground. I want war and you cannot...stop me!", she said, touching Celeste's arm. Her arm felt a burning sensation and she moaned in pain. "Are you alright?", Spiderman asked. "Yeah..", she said holding her arm. "Why are you doing this!?", Spiderman yelled. Veronica looked down and smirked. "Im only doing it for the pure enjoyment. This world, this realm called Midgard, or Earth, whatever you call it is just terrible. War is everywhere. You all kill for sport and dont even care. There are many monsters here created by you humans, because your afraid to be weak. You thrive for strength and its sad that you put your hands into the people called heroes. You dont realize that heroes are actually bad. They kill bad guys, thats their job, but because of heroes, they kill innocent lives in the way of their target. So no one can look up to something like them. They are murderers and shall be terminated!", Veronica said, holding her hand out, with a ball of orange in her hand. Celeste and Spiderman were shocked and the ball came at them. They dodged the ball and it hit the ground, melting the ground. It was like lava, burning and destroying the ground. With one touch, you will burn to death. The news crew freaked out as the balls got closer to them. They were about to get hit. They decided to cut it short and save their lives. Celeste looked back at them running and knew that they had to get away from the city. "We must get away from the city", Celeste said. Spiderman understood and he had to run away and get Veronica's attention. "Over here!", he said. She got mad and chased him. "Get back here you little bug!". Celeste looked at her arm and her sleeve burnt off. She knew she couldnt heal herself or fix it. It had hurt badly. She knew she was gonna blister. She pulled her sleeve up and got ready to fight.

"Agent Coulsin, you better look at this". Coulsin watched as the ship blew up. A girl had shielded them from the explosive. He smirked and thought she was interesting. "Get Fury in the line, I want him to see this little girl in action". Thats when they pushed a button, activating the towns camera's.
