Asher, you have got to be kidding me!" Mae exclaims. I give her the hardest look I've got.
"We have to do this Mae," I say softly petting the fawn's fur.
"Ugh, this is so dangerous," Mae mumbles.
"Isn't the thing we just did dangerous? C'mon, I know what to do," I say.
"I DON'T WANNA GO TO THE HIM'S LAIR!" Mae yells. I look at the ground and the fawn snorts.
"Then I will go alone," I say, heading off following the fawn. Mae rolls her eyes and follows.
"What exactly do we need there?" Mae asks checking her recipe book, but the page was ripped off.
"We need the zombie elixir," I say quietly, still following the fawn.
"WHAT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!" Mae exclaims. I put my finger to my lips and I keep walking.
"Asher, are you mad, we don't even have a plan," Mae says.
"I do," I reply calmly.
"What?" Mae asks. I sigh and explain the plan to her and she agrees that it is a good idea. We keep walking and then we stop at the entrance of a forest, a forest called "The Forest Of The Undead". I took in a breath and followed the fawn in.
All of a sudden I hear a scream and I turn around, but it wasn't Mae. Then, the horrible music starts to play. I yell and fall to the ground and then I fall through the ground. The last thing I hear is, "ASHERRRR!"
I open my eyes and I'm in a dark area. The dark hooded figure is in front of me.
"Welcome," He cackles. I scoot back away from him.
"W-who are you?" I ask. He smiles and reaches up to take off the hood . . .
. . . to reveal the face of my friend, Finn!!! He smiles. Then I realize I'm in an arena.
"You always thought you knew everything-ah-but maybe not, Asher. Join me, join The Him, or else," Finn cackles moving away to reveal a cage with a beast, a horrible, ugly beast.
"Become in command number three since I'm in two," Finn smiled.
He's The Special One.
He looks at me with cold, hard eyes, like he's looking into my soul.
"Because I am the Special One, Asher. I know your thoughts. I know your secrets. I know your little nightmares. And please, you thought I was your FRIEND? You have become infected by us but because of the stupid OTHDOAN, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!!" Finn yells.
"Y-you know my secrets?" I asked nervously.
"Uh huh. I know where you live, why you were stupidly brought to the world, but me and The Him knows your destiny. Join The Him. You can have ultimate power, not anything like Othdoan," Finn spat.
"You don't say Othdoan like that," I hissed. But if I'm being honest, his words were convincing.
"I can say anything I want," he said harshly, "Come. We'll grant you every wish you desire, including making that girl your girlfriend. I don't think you already notice but she already has a boyfriend. His name is Jasper," Finn smiled cruelly.
"No, I don't believe you, you're lying," I say pushing all the thoughts about joining The Him away. Finn frowns.
"Torture him until he joins," he says to a guard. The guard picks me up with very little effort and he locks chains on my hands and feet. He throws me into a jail cell, that goes way up to my waist with freezing cold water. He even made me take off my shoes. He chained me to the wall so I couldn't get my feet out of the water. I shivered. I looked to my left and saw the small fawn in a cell next to me. The guard spotted me looking at her and he grabbed his whip. Once he had slapped it to her she disappeared into dust. I screamed."Scared?" He laughs.
"Scared? Seriously! You turned an innocent animal to dust!" I said grimly.
The guard stopped smiling and locked my cell. "Dinner's 7. Don't get your food all soggy." And he left.
I shivered as my feet started to get numb.
"I know what I said," someone hissed.
"Yes, but she is coming over to save him either way," another voice said. I think it was Finn's.
"I know she's coming. This is why I need more guards, Fiarnn! She could be here any minute! I need all places secure." There was a short pause. "NOW!"
I heard shuffling and footsteps that came to my cell. A person was there, in the shadows. I squint so I could try to see him.
"No need for squinting, Scrappy," he hissed.
"H-how do you know my name?" I cringed as I said it.
"Because," He stepped into the light and I gasped, "I know you."
