Chapter 3

Shai and Hinria were walking down the streets eating ice cream together
"It's a shame we won't be seeing each other anymore..." Hinria said
"Yeah but I'll visit you okay?" Shai said and smiled
"But...I just don't want anything to happen to you. I mean...during elementary when you moved here for the first time...you were being pushed around remember?" Hinria asked
"Don't remind me...I know what I've been through but...it doesn't matter. I won't let them see me on the ground crying like a baby ever again..." Shai said
Flashback
Shai covered herself as they threw her trash and poured their drinks on her head
"Haha! Look at her!"
"What a baby!"
"Hehe do you need your Mommy? Oh that's right. You don't have one do you?"
Shai trembled as tears rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't do anything else but cry on the floor like a little baby. Shai lifted her head up and trembled in fear. After getting beaten up and getting hurt, Shai walked to the bathroom and cleaned herself up
"Shai...aren't you tired of this?" She heard someone speak. Shai's eyes widen and looked up seeing her reflection
"H-huh? Was that...y-you?" Shai asked
"Of course it was. Who else would it be? No one is here but me..." She said
"What do you want? Why are you here? To make fun of me?" Shai asked
"I know we've met before and talked about this so...why don't you just fight back? No one is here to save you...in this world it's just you in the world. No one else will come and save you from getting hurt" She said
"...if you're saying that I should fight back then I'm not intrested...Yuzuko wouldn't do such a thing" Shai said
"Your cousin? Don't you think you and your cousin are very different? Smiling and being happy won't solve your problems...it'll only make things worse for you. People who are always so cheerful and happy are always popular and loved by others. What about you...? Whenever you smile or act kind you're just pushed to the ground. You and Yuzuko aren't the same. You may be cousins and Okogis but...you two aren't alike. There is no need to follow her example...it works for her because everyone loves her. She was very popular back then right? And you were just in her shadow...though she invited you into her group but now that she's gone...nobody wants to be friends with a filthy piece of trash like you" She said. Shai looked down with tears rolling down her cheeks. They landed on the ground and shivered feeling her shadow wrap their arms around her from behind. Shai had hallucinations ever since she was a little kid. She hated it but she soon realized these hallucinations were her only way to escape torture and pain
"You can kill them. Get rid of them...beat them up and see them on the ground crying like little babies" She whispered in her ear. Shai just clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth. After her restroom break it was recess time. She walked outside on the playground and sat down on the swings. She sat down while looking down
"Hey! This is our spot" A girl said. Shai just lifted her head up with a smile on her face
"I'm sorry but this is my spot now..." Shai said and giggled.
"Who said you can claim this spot? This is only for us popular kids" The girl said
"So? It's not like you bought this yourself" Shai said and got off the swing
"You're suppose to know your place. You belong on the ground in the dirt because no one likes you. So get off my swing before we beat you up" The girl said. The other girl surrounded Shai and started calling her stupid names. Shai felt someone grab her arm and she looked at them with cold eyes
"Let go or else...you'll regret it" Shai hissed
"Haha! You think I'm-" Shai grabbed the girl and threw her to the ground. Shai glared at the others and grabbed them by their hair. She smiled as she started laughing pushing the girls on the ground and making them cry. The teachers came up and tried to figure out was was going on
"It was her! She did this to me!"
"Yeah! She did it!"
All the girl cried while pointing at Shai. Shai just teared up and cried
"I didn't do it!" Shai cried. The teachers gathered up the girls and went to the principal's office. The parents walked to the office and started complaining and shouting. Suddenly everyone trembled in fear seeing the old woman. A Higashi. Mrs. Higashi just gave them a glare which made them shut up in and instant
"Sir...allow me to explain" Mrs. Higashi said and started talking about how Shai was being bullied and pushed around. The girls just glared at Shai but trembled in fear seeing Shai was smiling at them. But her smile wasn't a sweet or kind smile more like a crazy smile. After the situation was solved the group of girls ended up getting punished instead of Shai. Shai followed her grandmother to the limousine and got inside
"Shai...please don't get yourself in trouble like that ever again" Her grandmother said sternly
"Yes grandmother. Sorry for causing all this..." Shai said
"You are lucky you were able to escape this one. You see Shai? Being a Higashi can help you get away with many things..." Her grandmother said. Shai just looked outside of the car window and smiled
"You're right" Shai said and giggled softly. And so Shai's new life begun
End Of Flashback
"Shai...there is something really important that I must tell you" Hinria said as she stopped walking
"Hm? I'm listening" Shai said as she looked at her
"W-well...I know these 8 years we spent together have been amazing and now you'll be moving away. S-so...uhm...ugh this is so hard" Hinria said
"Hehe you can do it" Shai said
"Sh-shai-"
"Shai Higashi" A voice was heard. Shai turned around seeing a man in a suit
Great...grandmother came to pick me up
"Sorry Hinria. My grandmother must've called them to pick me up. I'll call you okay? Bye and I'm sorry!" Shai said as she followed the man heading to the limousine
"B-bye Shai! Be safe!" Hinria said. Shai looked at her and smiled brightly
"See ya!" Shai said and got inside the limousine. Hinria just smiled as she waved goodbye. Tears built up in her eyes and her smile faded. She watched the limousine drive away and looked down as she cried
"Sh-shai...I love you" Hinria cried and fell on her knees

Shai sighed as she finished up her ice cream. She looked out the window and leaned against it
A new place...new home...new people to fuck with
"My grandmother sent you?" Shai asked
"Yes ma'am. Your grandmother has everything prepared back at the mansion" The man said
"What about my pets? I am not going to live without them" Shai said
"Ma'am I believe those mutts-"
"Don't you dare call them mutts! They are my family too!" Shai said raising her voice. The man just stayed quiet and kept driving. He stopped at the mansion and Shai got out of the car. She walked up to the front door and opened the doors. Dogs started barking and they ran up to Shai
"Hey guys!" Shai said and kneeled down petting them. The dogs barked a d licked her cheeks
"Hehe awww I love you all too" Shai giggled and petted their heads softly
"Shai Higashi" Her grandmother said. Shai just sighed and stood up glaring at her grandmothe
"Hello grandmother" Shai said
"What have you been doing? Where were you?" Her grandmother asked
"I was just spending time with a friend..." Shai said
"A friend or were you looking to find another slut?" Her grandmother asked sternly
"It's none of your business..." Shai said and walked to the kitchen
"None of my business? Shai...do you realize what this can do to your reputation?" Her grandmother asked
"What do you mean my reputation? Don't you mean your reputation?" Shai asked as she glared at her
"Oh shut up. Now that we'll be moving to a new place I want you to be on your best behavior. Especially around girls. Don't start looking for another bitch and please stop getting into fights..." Her grandmother said
"Yeah yeah...whatever" Shai said and grabbed her dog's bowls then filled them all up with dog food. She put the bowls down and her pets started eating
"If we're leaving can I bring them along? You know very well I can't live without them" Shai said
"Fine. Just as long as you take care of them all" Her grandmother said as she rolled her eyes
"Yes. Of course I will take care of them" Shai said
"Alright. We will be going to the airport tonight and arrive in the morning. You will be going to the Aihara Academy" Her grandmother said
"Aihara Academy? Wait a minute...doesn't the Aihara family own that Academy?" Shai asked
"Yes and it's an all girls school so you won't have to deal with any assholes but you won't be flirting with any of them" Her grandmother said
"Pfft...as if I'll be intrested in any sluts at that Academy. It's all bullshit anyways. The people in that place are from a bunch of rich families so why bother fucking with them?" Shai said and put the dog food away. Her grandmother looked at her and sighed
"Hopefully you'll like your new place...especially since you'll be going to the Academy with your cousin" Her grandmother said as she walked away. Shai's eyes widen and turned around to look at her grandmother
Wait...is she talking about Yuzu?
"Wh-what? My cousin? A-are you talking about...h-her?" Shai asked
"Yuzuko Okogi? Yes...but now since her mother remarried she's now an Aihara. Hehe she got lucky to be part of the Aihara family. I guess her mother was lucky to flirt with the Sho Aihara. Such a shame he ended up being a disappointment to the Aihara family while his daughter worked hard to keep the Academy all good" Her grandmother said. Shai just looked at her and nodded
So...Auntie Ume got remarried and now Yuzu is an Aihara. Mei Aihara and Yuzu Aihara are stepsisters now? Hm? I wonder if Yuzu is doing okay...what am I saying? She is always okay. I never saw her upset...well only when her father passed away. She was very upset that she ended up hurting herself but luckily she changed and decided to look more like her father. It's been 8 years...she must've changed. Maybe I can see Matsuri-chan too...
"Anyways go to your room and check if everything is good" Her grandmother said
"Yes grandmother" Shai said
"And maybe even say goodbye to your cousins" Her grandmother said. Shai just growled and walked upstairs. Shai heard the story about her grandmother abandoning her father when he was little and went to sleep with some other asshole then ended up having a son which became Shailung's stepbrother. Since her grandmother kept getting only sons she wished to get a girl out of her two sons. Shailung was successful to give her mother a daughter while his stepbrother only got boys so Shai was lucky to be her grandmother's favorite. The two boys were Shai's cousins Zeke and Taher Higashi. Shai just passed by her two cousins pushing them aside. She really didn't get along with her two cousins. She walked to her room and looked around seeing the empty room. She saw her bags and walked to the drawer. She opened it and saw a picture of her father. She held the picture close to her chest and trembled
Papa...I wish I could get to see you one last time and be in your arms again
"Shai! There is someone at the door for you!" Her grandmother said from downstairs. Shai just groaned and put the picture safe inside her bag. She walked out of her room and groaned a bit
Who the hell could it be now?
Shai walked downstairs and headed to the door
"Please deal with that slut immediately..." Her grandmother whispered as she walked pass by her. Shai opened the door and her eyes widen seeing someone who she truly despised with all her heart. She clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth as she glared at her
"Diane I told you to leave me alone and never look for me again..." Shai hissed
