"Hey Harumin. I'll call you later okay? I have to get ready and talk to Momokino-san" Yuzu said
"Well alright. I'll ask my sister is it's okay with her" Harumin said
"Okay. Bye Harumin" Yuzu said
"Bye Yuzucchi" Harumin said and smiled. Yuzu smiled back and headed over to the apartment. Once she got there Yuzu changed into different clothes since it was against the rules to go somewhere else with your school outfit. She walked out of the apartment and walked out of the building. She walked through the streets and stopped seeing Sara nearby the building
What the hell? Why is she here?
"Hey Yuzu!" Sara said waving at her. Yuzu just looked at her and clenched her fists tightly but forced a smile
"Hey Sara!" Yuzu said and walked up to them
"How are you Yuzu?" Sara asked
"I'm good. How about you?" Yuzu asked
"Hehe I'm doing just great. Hey have you seen Mei?" Sara asked
"No...she must still be at the Academy but she'll be back" Yuzu said
"Yuzu...you should really get over her" Sara said. Yuzu's heartache and looked down
"I know it hurts but...do you think anything will change if you confessed?" Sara asked
"No...nothing will change" Yuzu said
"Then you should try and get over her. Maybe look for someone else..." Sara said
"Yeah..." Yuzu said
"Anyways...why are you dressed like that? Are you going to see someone?" Sara asked
"I'm meeting up with a friend. We have to talk a few things about something..." Yuzu said
"Oh okay. Well I hope you have a good afternoon" Sara said and smiled. Yuzu just looked at her and clenched her fists tightly. She felt this anger built up inside her. She knew if she couldn't control herself she would set herself on flames and that...would be bad
"Yeah...you too. What will you and Mei be doing?" Yuzu asked
"Hmm? I don't know. Maybe go out and eat something. She might invite me to stay at her place for a while so we will see each other" Sara said
"Oh...that's cool but I won't be here. I'm staying at someone's place. She's someone I haven't seen for so long...hehe I can't wait to be with her again. Anyways have a mice day with Mei" Yuzu said and walked away. She clenched her fists tightly and released a bit of flames from her palm. She trembled and shook her head
Calm down Yuzu...don't burst into flames. Control yourself...
Yuzu walked to the place where Himeko told her to meet up. She stopped and looked at the place
This is the place...
"You're here. Just on time" Himeko said
"W-wah! You scared me!" Yuzu said as she jumped
"Hmph. Follow me" Himeko said. Yuzu followed Himeko inside the place and walked to a table where Himeko reserved for them. Yuzu and Himeko sat down then ordered something
"So...now about Mei" Himeko said and looked at Yuzu who was looking down
"What about her? Why should we be talking about her? There is nothing to talk about..." Yuzu said
"If you hadn't noticed...Mei has been acting odd. Especially when that new girl transferred to the Academy..." Himeko said
"What are you talking about? Mei is perfectly fine" Yuzu said
"That's what she wants you to think...what she wants everyone to think. I know Mei for many years and I can tell when she's lying..." Himeko said
"So? What if she is acting different? Why should I care?" Yuzu asked
"...you love Mei...don't you?" Himeko asked. Yuzu just froze for a moment but sighed
"Yes...and you too...am I right?" Yuzu asked
"...of course. I love her with all my heart. I want to protect her. I want her to be happy" Himeko said
"Heh...then just go after her and stop wasting my time. I don't need to talk about Mei. I don't give a damn about her. She already had a girlfriend who loves her and she loves her too. Nothing will change if I tell her how I feel..." Yuzu said
"Have you even confessed?" Himeko asked
"No..." Yuzu said
"What makes you so sure she'll reject you?" Himeko asked
"We're both stepsisters. That's it. She'll only love me as a sister...so just stop asking me about her" Yuzu said sternly
"Then...mind if I ask about Higashi-san?" Himeko asked
"You mean Shai? What about her?" Yuzu asked
"You two really seem close. How long have you two known each other for?" Himeko asked
"Shai and I have known each other when we were kids....but when we both were 8 Shai left" Yuzu said and looked down
"Why did she leave?" Himeko asked
"If you really want to know that badly why not ask her? I don't know why she left...that's her business not mine. But I have a feeling it has to do with her family...after her father died...she left. It might have something to do with that..." Yuzu said
"And her mother?" Himeko asked
"Look I don't know...just ask her" Yuzu said and stood up
"H-hey where are you going?" Himeko asked
"I'm done okay? We already talked about Mei...so whatever. I don't care anymore...and if you want to know more about Shai then ask her yourself" Yuzu said
"...before you leave there is something I must tell you" Himeko said
"And that is?" Yuzu asked
"Higashi-san came to the Student Council Office and said she need to have a word with the President..." Himeko said. Yuzu's eyes widen and looked at Himeko
"Sh-she what?" Yuzu asked
Why did Shai want to talk to Mei? Was it because of...what I told her? Shai...please don't start a fight. There is no need to fight...
Flashback
Shai clenched her fists tightly and glared at the other group of kids
"Shai it's fine" Yuzu said
"But they shouldn't be saying things to you! They shouldn't make fun of your father!" Shai said
"Shai...you know it's best to stay calm" Yuzu said and held her hand
"C-calm...you're right" Shai said but kept her glare at the kids. She gritted her teeth and trembled
'No one...no one speak like that to my cousin! You will pay! All of you!'
Yuzu smiled and Shai just smiled back at her. Shai started gaining confidence and she wasn't that shy or scared anymore. After school, Shai decided to speak with the other kids
"Hey...you guys shouldn't have said that about Yuzu and her father. Her father is an amazing man and he is the best man I ever met" Shai said
"Pfft! But her father is dead. That's a shame" The girl giggled
"Laughing about someone's death isn't funny..." Shai said
"It is when it's about a loser..." The girl said
"Yuzu isn't a loser! She is awesome and cool! You don't know nothing about Yuzu! So don't treat her like that...please...I'm sorry if we did anything wrong so please...don't hurt her or me anymore" Shai said and looked at the group of kids. The kids looked at her and started laughing
"Why should we listen to a complete loser like you?"
"Yeah you're the one who belongs to the ground. You're an outcast so you better stay that way..."
Shai just clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth. Her eyes glowed and raised her fist but Yuzu came in holding her arm
"Shai...please..." Yuzu whispered. Shai just looked at Yuzu and slowly put her arm down. Yuzu took Shai away leaving the room
"Haha! Look at the little babies!"
"Yeah they are weak!"
Yuzu just glared at them but looked at Shai who tried to keep her cool
"Relax Shai. I know it's hard to control ourselves but remember what my father said...we shouldn't use our powers for bad and hurt people. We may not be humans but still...there are people in this world who may be going through thought times" Yuzu said
"But they shouldn't be talking like that about you or your father!" Shai said
"I know it's hard and painful to hear them talking like that but...hurting them won't solve anything. Just try and positive okay? Everything will be okay" Yuzu said and smiled brightly. Shai just looked at Yuzu and nodded
'How can you do it Yuzu? How are you still smiling? Even after they talked to you like that...how can you be smiling? What is your secret? To stay happy and optimistic...'
End Of Flashback
Yuz trembled at the thought of Shai and looked down
Shai...don't you dare hurt Mei

"What about her?" Mei asked
"Don't play dumb with me Aihara. I know what you did to Yuzu and I want to know why..." Shai said sternly
"Nothing happened between me and Yuzu" Mei said
"Heh...nothing? Stealing her first kiss is nothing? Or what about kissing her to shut up? That's nothing to you!" Shai said raising her voice
"It has nothing to do with you..." Mei said
"Nothing to do with me? It surely has something to do with me. Yuzu is really important to me. She is like my sister and I won't let anyone hurt her. Do you know how it feels like to have a sister? Heh...of course you don't. You two are stepsisters...but...the way you treat Yuzu and kissing her out of nowhere...is bullshit" Shai said as her glared at Mei
"Is that all you have to say to me?" Mei asked
"I don't get what Yuzu sees in you or how she even fell in love with you. I'm kinda surprised she is into girls but not really. She could've fallen for any girl...at least a girl who can actually make her happy and smile. But you...you are just a bitch. All I see is a cold heart bitch who has no feelings or a heart. I heard that you have a girlfriend. So you replaced Yuzu for her? Why would you hurt Yuzu like that?" Shai asked
"I never hurted Yuzu..." Mei said
"Are you blind?! Yuzu is heartbroken because of you! You don't deserve Yuzu at all! Yuzu is the strongest and most brightest person I've ever met! She always smiles and no matter what situation she is in...she will always find a way to solve it. She helps others and cares for other. She always helped me and cared for me. I can tell Yuzu means nothing to you...the way Yuzu talked about you...made me realize that you're the reason she's upset the whole time. Her smile...isn't as bright as it was before when we were kids. Her eyes don't shine at all. You've hurt Yuzu and it pisses me off...so much. You wouldn't understand how strong our friendship is...since the way you treat your friends are like shit. I bet you don't have friends...all these bitches who surround you are just a bunch of fans who would only want to hang out with a popular bitch and not be an outcast" Shai said. Mei just looked at her and stayed silent
"Aren't you going to say anything Aihara?" Shai asked
"No...I have nothing to say to you" Mei said
"Well...since you aren't saying shit let me tell you one thing. One...important advice" Shai said and walked up to her desk and stood in front of her desk. Shai grabbed Mei's school tie pulling her close and glared at Mei with her cold blue eyes
"Stay away from Yuzu unless you want to fight me. Yuzu shouldn't waste her time with a slut like you so go and fuck with your bitch. Leave Yuzu alone...or else...you'll regret it" Shai said harshly and let go of her. Mei fixed her tie and her eyes widen feeling her tie ice cold. The atmosphere seemed to change and Mei shivered not understanding why or how. She just clenched her fists tightly and let out a growl
