The next day, Marinette insist much to the discouragement of her doctor that she still goes through with the wedding!  She can not bail out on him now.  What would Adrien think, or say?  She does not want him to think just because she has a sprain on her ankle that she loves him any less.  She is more than happy to marry him even it does mean she has to deal with a bit of a limp and crutches.  It is not his fought the horse through her off anyway.

Marinette gets ready with help from the lawyer, Alya.  She knows this may seem strange, but then again everything about her and Adrien's  realationship is far from normal.  Why the two of them could not stand each other when they first met.  Later they feel in love despite all odds and now they are about to wed!  She can hardly contain her excitement!

"Well, let me see!  Yes, I know we could do your hair up in a nice french braid then pull it up in a bun!  Does that sound good?"  Alya ask. She gushes with excitement over the special occasion. She is glad that Adrien and Marinette did not kill one another which was her original thought and instead are about to marry one another!  This makes her job less stressful already.

"Yes, that sounds splendid!  Thanks for all your help!  Without it, I am not sure what I would have done."  Marinette says.

"Oh, it was the least I could do for one of my previous clients sisters."  Alya says.

"Yes, well it still means more to me than you can imagine."  Marinette remarks.

Alya fixes Marinette's hair in the style the two agree upon and when she finishes she stands back to admire her work.  "There all done! "  Alya says.  She sprays some hair spray on the braids to make sure they stay in place before she sweeps it up into the bun.  Then, she takes a few photos of the finish product.

"Ta da!"  Alya says as she hands a mirror to Marinette who sits in a chair.

"Wow, it looks better than I thought!  Thanks again!"  Marinette says.

"Hehe, no problem girl!"  Alya responds.

Meanwhile, with the groom to be, Adrien paces the floor.  He feels so nervous.  What will he do if he messes up?  What if he is not good enough for her?  What happens if she changes her mind at the last minute.  Not to say he could blame her.  It is not like he did much to prevent her fall from the silly animal the other day!  Somehow, he feels like  he is at fault for the sudden injury she finds herself with as if  he were the one to make her fall.  He is not sure why he feels such guilt.

Adrien's  glad his uncle, Tim came to help him out.  It sure was kind of him to loan him a bottle of hair gel to tame his hair, especially since he has not gotten a decent hair cut in awhile. The irony is it reminds him of the day he met Marinette.  He has  a bit of a flashback and sighs.

In his flashback,    "Ugh,  seriously you need a hair cut!  How could my sister ever put such an unkept person in her will is beyond me!  Besides that you are rude, ugly, and mean as ever!"  Marinette says as she puts her tongue out at him.  "Well, at least I do not dress like a toddler and have hair in a style where someone might accuse me of not being past preschool age, miss pig tails, so there!"  He retorts back as if he does not have a care in the world.  Which at the moment is true. He just wishes to get the will read soon, so he can head back to his life one far away from the likes of her.  This ridiculous, Marinette person and only sister of the late Bridgettte Dupain-Cheng.

   End of  flashback...

Adrien  shakes his head at the memory.  He can only hope Marinette will not take a look at his rather long, hippie style hair and turn him away from her for good. He hopes that somehow today will prove that no matter how bad the first impression might be it is the months and years together that really matters.  It is the love they share that pulls them through in the long run.  For he is very much indeed in love with her.

"Nephew, do try to calm down, lad!  I am sure she will be just happy to see you!  Why any woman who dates you and agrees to marry you is a keeper! "  Tim says.

"Really, uncle!  I know, but how do I know she will not get cold feet."  Adrien says.

"Oh, you do not. "  Tim says.

"Great, just great."  Adrien says more upset than he was before now.

"However, I do not think she is the sort to give up easily." Tim says.

"You really think so, Uncle Tim?"  Adrien ask.

"Yes, I really do think so." Tim says.

    "Thanks, Uncle. "  Adrien says.

    "For what?"  Tim ask.

"For the reminder that she intends to see this through no matter what that is what  I think you for my dear Uncle."  Adrien says.

"Well, then lets go to the wedding!  Shall we?"  Tim ask.

   "Yes!"  Adrien remarks. He smiles.

Tim goes to stand next to the pastor. Adrien stands on the other side of the pastor , so that is he in between him and his uncle, Tim.

Then, Alya comes out and stands on the first step. She can see clearly that Adrien is a nervous wreck probably even more so than Marinette is at the moment. She giggles to herself and thinks, well at least this proves they will have a strong marriage, right?

Last, Marinette comes out!  As the couple about to wed agreed to a small wedding since Marinette has no family left and Adrien could only get his uncle to come witness it.  Alya the lawyer is happy she is able to be here too.

As the preacher, has the bride and groom face one another, Marinette almost trips. She drops one of the crutches and whinces in pain.  Adrien sees this, and picks her up. Then, he bends down and gathers up the crutch.   "I do believe you did drop this my lady!" Adrien says.

"Why thank ever so much, Adrien! "  Marinette says.

Adrien sets her down gently now that she has her hands on both crutches once more.  Marinette smiles at him. So far, so good!  The two repeat the vows, one after another.  Adrien goes first and smiles over at Marinette.  Then, Marinette does the same.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride!" The preacher announces.

Adrien gently holds onto Marinette as he leans in, lifts the veil and kisses her!  He so happy to be her husband!  Marinette kisses him back as she thinks, yes, I am his wife at last!

Then, Adrien carries his wife, crutches and all outside.  He sets her down on a bench.  The photographer, takes a few pictures just as she did during the ceremony.

"Good, now I will have the photos back to you as soon as I can!"  The photographer, Chloe says.

     "Thanks!"  Adrienette says.

"Oh, your welcome and congratulations you too!"  Chloe says. She thinks, what a nice couple!  She is happy to see this couple does not appear to be at odds with one another unlike the one whose wedding she did the photography for last weekend.  This is a pleasant change from that one for sure.  She leaves.

Now, Alya waves as Adrien gently holds Marinette in his arms.  The crutches fall to the ground.  Both of them this time.  Tim grabs them up and carries them to the car.

As Adrien, and Marinette leave for their honeymoon, Tim turns to Alya and says, "you know you kinda remind me of my granddaughter, she is about your age, she too is a lawyer, and she is so polite just as you are my dear."

"Thank you kind sir."  Alya says. She thinks Tim a strange man indeed.  She leaves to travel the long journey back to her place.

Tim catches his train back to his house and thinks, well that was a very fine wedding !  Yes it was just marvelous!  Glad to have been a part of it!
