I stand outside the gates of Hell and I take a few steps back till I reach the edge, which leads to a bottomless pit. The gates are black with small engraved swirls; I focus on reaching the throne room and I silently count to three. I charge towards the gate and jump through, transporting into the throne room, where Beleth is sitting on the throne.
"Violet! Did you come here through your dream again?" Beleth asks, shockingly. He is wearing a red suit and his hair is slick.
"No, I came here to kill you." I fiercely snap, the guards come towards me but Beleth holds his hand out.
"Boys, she can't hurt me, she's human." He comes towards me and looks me up and down. "You have kept up good; you look like your mother. Too bad she is the reason for why your baby was murdered."
Rage fills me; how does he know about my baby? "Well, your mother is with me. She is starting to see the bright side of having a monster for a daughter." He gives a sinister smile.
I lung towards him and constantly throw my fists, striking his face. The guards grab me, but I use all my strength slinging them off my arms, against one another and throw kicks, not caring who it is. "Everybody stop!" I hear a loud roar and they all ease up. Beleth grabs me by my throat, full of anger. "You need some time to think." He snaps his fingers and I am in cell.
The coldness creeps up my back and I can hardly see anything. A long hallway that goes from my cell to an empty darkness; I try to pull on the bars, but they don't budge. "You're not in just some regular jail." A familiar scruffy voice says, turning around to find the person who said that, there's a dark figure in the corner.
"Come out." I demand. The figure moves closer, coming out of the light; my eyes go big. A man wearing a casual outfit, short black hair, green eyes; the man I had served for years. "Lucifer."
"Ah! My lieutenant came back." He says, giving a fake and uncomfortable smile.
"Your daughter came back." I grit through my teeth. He looks taken back by hearing me say that and his face is full of sorrow. "Along with your sons, we are here to save Hell."
"I'm sorry that you had to find out this way, I wanted to tell you."
"Yeah, you should have! I would have a family, my brothers. But right now, we need your help." I demand calmly.
"I can't. I am too weak; how do you think they got in here?" Lucifer sits down on the floor defeated against the bars.
"Let me talk to you as your lieutenant. The Lucifer I know would have never got weak. He wouldn't even let this happen." I strongly say, kneeling next to him.
"Beleth and your mom came by and told me everything that they had planned for you and where your brother has been. I was furious and couldn't find Fredrick. I was finally going to do something about all this and I wanted to get my children back, but they informed me that Fredrick had died along with Jake."
"Why are you weak then?" I ask, trying to piece everything together.
"I was depressed. I couldn't save my children; I decided that I couldn't rule Hell either, so I gave up my throne. After giving up my throne I was put here."
"Hell is going to hell ever since Beleth. Your children are alive and Beleth plans on finishing his job of running Heaven and Hell. I'm being used as a weapon and if I don't get out of here then Jake and Fred will die." Lucifer puts his head down and I slightly cock my head, turning my jaw in one direction. I then decide to do something that no one ever dares to do, except me. I was never afraid of Lucifer and especially not afraid of him now that he is my father. I slap as hard as I can. "Dammit Lucifer! Your children need you and so does Hell. The almighty Lord of Hell is depressed when he feels like a failure to his children; that's how God felt about you, but he is still ruling Heaven and fighting for his life. Get your ass up and be the badass you're supposed to be and help your children." I order, almost running out of breath.
