“Daddy, am I going to be in your class today? I want to say hello to Hitoshi and Midoriya-Chan!” The little girl chirped as she was lead up the huge stone steps of UA's grand entryway, the pads of her large, chunky boots scuffing the cement and tapping on the polished tile, her pretty red eyes wide and hopeful as she tugged gently on the tattered black sleeve that she was holding hands with.

The raven haired hero looked down a the light tug of fabric, seeing Eri's eyes lock on his own bloodshot and tired black pupils, sighing softly as he jerked his shoulders in an exhausted shrug, nodding his head.

“Yes, you'll be in my class today. I'm taking the kids outside, but it shouldn't be anything dangerous. If I decide its too much though, I'll have to send you to Mommy's class, okay?” Aizawa deadpanned lazily, readjusting the puffy, banana slug sleeping bag that was currently folded over his right forearm, casting a glance over to his cockatoo haired companion, who strutted along beside him, one leather cased arm slung casually around the shorter man's shoulders and a goofy grin on his face, humming to himself obliviously. “Sorry, sunshine, but I can't have distractions....those idiots still have to learn something from me after all.”

“Yay!! I'll be really good! I promise!”

Aizawa chuckled softly at her enthusiastic reply, a tired smile on his face as he leaned down and patted her head affectionately, stifling a yawn with his other hand.

He didn't have enough coffee in his system to be excited about patrol tonight, especially since he would be doing it alone.

Hizashi was still on medical leave for another two weeks, per his doctors—and his agency's—insisting.

Although, they did say he could get back on the radio next Friday.

“I know you'll be good, sunshine. Those brats could learn something from you, ya know?” He joked in a sleepy manner, Eri giggling happily at the praise as Hizashi cocked a teasing eyebrow, poking his shorter lover's scruffy cheek.

“Sho-Chan! Its not nice to say mean things about your class! Especially if your favorite nephew is in it!~” The heavily gelled blond teased in a low voice, Aizawa rolling his eyes as he swatted the hand away.

“Please, he's my only nephew, which automatically makes him the worst of them.”

“Uncle of the year.”

“I know I am.”

Hizashi rolled his vivid, orange tinted green eyes, snickering to himself as he pulled open the door of the teachers lounge, motioning the two inside with a laugh.

“Why, after you, darling future husband and beloved daughter!”

Aizawa simply rolled his eyes in response as he stalked through the door with Eri, almost immediately locking his sights on the unoccupied sofa, which he promptly claimed for himself, flopping himself across all three worn cushions with a low grown of contentment, the soles of his black, mid-calf boots poking over the armrest and the hand that held tightly to his sleeping bag hanging off the side and dragging on the floor.

“SHOTA! This is no time to sleep! Class starts in five minutes!” Hizashi scolded in a whiney voice as he shut the door, Eri giggling at the lazy, raven haired hero as she skipped over and gave his arm a shake, trying to rouse him with a laugh.

“Silly Daddy! You can't sleep now! We have to go say hi to Hitoshi and Midoriya-Chan!”

Aizawa simply groaned in response, setting his hand on top of Eri's head and pushing her away gently, which made both Hizashi and the little girl laugh.
