Chapter Two - Target
The next letter was crinkled and had a coffee stain on the corner. Diana smiled, coffee was Calum's favorite drink. She turned her eyes back to the note and began to read.
You know how people say that if something's meant to happen it will happen? Well let's hope that's true. I ran into Diana today. I didn't think she'd remember me - we'd only met once, and she was so upset that day. You'll never guess where I saw her though. It was at the men's underwear section of Target. I'm not sure who was more embarrassed. "Hey," I had said, smirking. "Remember me?" She turned her head to face me, "Oh! Yeah! Gas station boy." She said, but her eyes widened after she said it, "I-uh didn't mean to say that last part out loud. Was it Cameron?" I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed she didn't remember my name. "Uh, Calum actually. You're Diana right?" She nodded, then apologized for not remembering my name. I asked if she was shopping for her boyfriend since she was in the men's underwear section - I was secretly hoping she'd say no - "oh, God no." She laughed, it was beautiful. "Just my brother. He's a lazy ass." I told her I would like to meet this lazy ass brother of hers, and tell him to shop for his own underwear. " I'd love that, maybe he'll actually listen to you." And that's how I got a beautiful girls number, and a promise to meet up soon. And let me tell you, soon never seemed so far away.
Diana flipped the wrinkled paper over, and saw a polaroid of the red balls (a.n get ur head out of the gutter u dirty shit ily) that they have in front of most Targets. Diana and Calum always used to joke about them. The memory made Diana let out a strange sound, a mix of a laugh and a cry. She loved him, she still loves him. With tears on her face, she took the polaroid off the note and hung it on her wall, right next to the last one.

okay okay so i know this is short but i've decided to make most of these chapters pretty short, that way i can upload more. and they're meant to be notes so it wouldn't really make sense to make them like 5 pages long. and i realize this chapter was pretty boring and fluffy but that's just bc it's the beginning of their relationship so yeahh just wait it will get interesting soon :)) - xoxo delilah
