Chapter Four - Bar
The next letter in the box was written with sloppy hand writing, but it still clearly belonged to Calum. Diana saw a few dried tear drops splattered across the page.
You know what really sucks? When you care about someone so fucking much, and want to give them the world and buy them the stars, but you don't know how to show them. So you try and try, but you keep messing up, and eventually, they stop waiting and you stop trying. And guess what? That's exactly what happened tonight. It's been three months since I've met Diana, and though I never officially 'asked her out' it was pretty clear to both of us what we wanted, I just didn't have the guts to actually ask her to be my girlfriend. I think she's starting to give up on me. Not that I blame her. Me and my co-worker Luke went to the bar tonight, he said he wanted to take my mind off things. It backfired. Diana was there too, sitting at a table drinking with a guy. I felt my heart snap in two as he reached over the table and hugged her, whispering something to her, then she threw her head back with laughter. Her eyes soon landed on me, locking with mine. The thing is, she didn't even seem phased the she was with a guy, she just gave the smallest smile. I know we aren't dating, so she's not really cheating, but I thought we both made it clear that we liked each other. Though, I suppose it is my fault, I waited too long. I should have asked her out when I had the chance. I did the only thing my frantic mind could think of-I wanted to make her feel as bad as I did. I grabbed the closest girl to me and kissed her, as hard as I could. "What the hell?!" the girl shouted, but then smirked when she looked at me, "let's go somewhere more private." I scoffed at that, walking away. When I turned to Diana, she was staring at me, mouth wide open and tears in her eyes.
Diana laughed as she read this letter, thinking how stupid they both were-but then again, they always have been. Her laughter soon turned to tears, thinking how she'd do anything to go back in time, how this was just the start of their dysfunctional relationship that she couldn't seem to get enough of. She looked up at the ceiling and let out a shaky sigh before turing back to the note and flipping it over, the polaroid was of a cup of beer, with the logo "Mat's, Pat's and Mack's" on the cup, that was the bar this happened at. Where the craziness of their relationship started.

holy shit it's been forever since i've updated. and just so you know the picture at the top (or to the side) is diana, when she looked at the ceiling at the end of the chapter! a couple things. one, this is not proof read so feel free to correct me on any mistakes. two, this story isn't meant to give full details of everything, just the important stuff with a little fluff here and there, so basically, if something doesn't make sense right now that's cause it's not suppose to yet, just give it time. anyway, sorry for the long a.n. and short chapter. but winter break it coming up so i'll be able to post more soon!
