Rescued

Chapter 5

Brad

Alex leaving DEFINITELY was not part of the plan. If this is happening we have to grab her AND Jake before that Mr. Sinclair has a chance to take her away to who knows where. Luckily John invited Sinclair to stay for dinner so we have a couple hours to figure this out. I'm on my way with Jake to the motel in town. Jake is absolutely freaking out and worrying, I wish I could promise him everything would be okay but I can't.

I pull up to the curb and Jake rushes out of the car and into the motel before I even have time to get out. We get up to the room and Jake starts wildly pounding on the door, he just wouldn't calm down. The whole way here it was "I don't want to have a better life! I want Alex! I just found her! They can't take her from me!"

From all the obnoxious pounding the boys opened the door quickly and pulled Jake and I inside. "What is with all the pounding? Jake are you okay?" Louis asks putting a hand on Jake's cheek. "Kid what's wrong?" Harry asks coming up behind him. "They're gonna take Alex!" He shouts. Jake starts to hyperventilate and you can just see the confusion on the boys' faces.

I grab Jake and hold him "Jake, Jake you need to calm down. It'll be okay we'll figure something out" I rub his back in small circles trying to calm him down. Jake gets these attacks quite a bit so I've figured out how to calm them down quicker and more efficiently over the years. Liam lightly hits my shoulder and gives me that "what the heck is he talking about?!" Look.

Looking over at Harry I sigh "is there somewhere I can let him sleep? Please?" Niall nods and helps me carry Jake over to one of the beds. Once I'm sure he's asleep I take a seat on the floor, everyone else sits with me and I just start talking. Explaining the story back to front.

"About a year ago, one of John's business partners called. He said that he was looking for a special someone because I wanted to start a family so he would have someone to pass his business onto. Well that was around the time we had first found Alex, John thought it was the best plan ever. He'd get Alex and convince her that she was going to be taking over for him when I'm reality he was going to sell her to this billionaire so that he would have a wife to screw around with and have a bunch of kids" I spit out the last part angrily.

"John was never going to let Alex take over anything. He was planning on Jake doing it this entire time, Alex was just wasted space that he couldn't wait to get rid of" I looked over at Louis and he was just crying, I mean MY heart broke looking at him. "Why didn't you tell us about this sooner? If it's been going on for almost a year now?!" Zayn said starting to get angry.

I put my hands up defensively "I'm sorry. He said he wouldn't come to get her until she was 21, I thought we had plenty of time. I thought we had years, now we have hours." I look at Louis again and he's just staring blankly at the floor with tears rolling down his face. I bet you anything he's thinking of all the horrible things that could and probably will happen to Alex. I've had nightmares for a while because I can't stop thinking of what that guys gonna do to her.

Niall looks just very confused as sad, I can tell he doesn't know what to do. "Guys if we're going to get her out, it needs to be now. We can't wait anymore, because as soon as he takes her, we won't get her back. I don't know where he lives or anything" I confess putting my head in my hands.

Liam gets up from off the floor and offers me a hand "then let's get cracking"

Harry

The heart ache on Louis' face was evident. He was also horrified by what Brad had told us, I mean who wouldn't be? But him being Alex's boyfriend it's a lot harder, to be with her for so long and then to find out that she's getting married and being forced to have someone else's kids? It's a bit much all at once. But as Brad said, we only have a few hours so we need to hurry our pace by a LOT.

Brad and Liam were the first on their feet and the rest of us followed them over to the table. We went over the plans again but modified a few things to fit tonight's dinner plans. Right before dinner ends Alex will excuse herself to go pack and get her things ready to go, that's when Louis will climb through the vents and into her room. Their reunion will have to be quick because he only has five minutes to get back out of her room before the camera goes back to normal.

Brad will be downstairs in the dining hall pretending to have a nice conversation with Sinclair and John. Jake will be in the car behind the house with Liam, Zayn, Niall, and I. As soon as Alex is out I'll text Brad and he'll politely excuse himself, he'll tell John that somethings going on in the pool house with Jake and he'll get into the car with us and we'll be gone.

Sinclair isn't supposed to leave with Alex until eight tonight, if all goes as planned we'll be out of there by six-thirty. Then it's straight to the airport so we have to make sure we have everything packed and put in the car so we don't have to come back for anything. If we all stay in time this should be really simple and easy.

Now let's go get Alex.
