Chapter 2

Louis

It's been a week since we've seen or heard from Jake. I hope he actually kept his promise and told Alex we love her. Knowing her she probably have up the idea we were coming to get her, I have a feeling she's doing a little better than she was though. It's just something about talking to Jake that helps me know she's okay.

He calls us whenever he can get away from everyone let's us know anything and everything that's happening. Well, the stuff he knows about anyway. The last time he called us he said they'd taken Alex again. I guess sometimes they take her into this building and when she comes back out she's passed out. Not something I was very thrilled to hear.

But ever since about a week ago my nightmares have gone down a lot. I still have them just not as frequently anymore. Harry seems to have this wild idea that Alex and I are connected somehow. Not just emotionally but mentally. Like I'm somehow seeing through her. What I think is he hasn't had enough sleep and he's turning into a crazy man.

"Hey Louis! It's Jake!" Niall yells from the other room. I quickly get out of bed and run to the living room, "finally! It's been a freaking week!" I exclaim plopping down next to Liam and Zayn. Jake's smiling face can be seen on the computer in front of us. "When did we start doing this?" I ask. I can't believe they would trust him with a computer but not Alex with anything.

Jake smiles "it was my birthday yesterday so they gave it to me, I don't have a lot of time though so just sit down and shut up." I'm taken aback by his sudden change in tone. But I do as he says and listen carefully. "Alex dying here guys, I mean she puts up this tough act in front of John but he absolutely terrifies her. Anyone who cares would be able to see that" my heart begins to hurt as he speaks. I wish I could've found her already.

"They sent me back out yesterday, I think I know where we are now. Just give me one more day and I'll have it. Well that's when you'll here from me. I'll probably figure it out within the hour, she can't do this much longer guys. As soon as you know you've got to figure something out to get us out of here" I could faintly see a few tears on his face and I felt really bad for the kid.

He just wants his sister to be okay, I'd do the same for my sisters. I mean it's the only family he's got left. I nod at Jake and sigh "just as soon as you have it, let us know as soon as you possibly can. We'll be there" Jake smiles and nods. He goes to reach for the off button and I stop him "Jake" I say. He looks at me question and I smile " be safe" a smile creeps on to his face and then the screen goes blank.

Zayn smiles and Liam sighs "well, I guess all we can do now is wait" Harry gets up and goes upstairs without another word. Probably to pack. We'd be out of here soon to find Alex. Oh Jake, please hurry.

Brad

It was just a normal day, getting Jake up and down the road to catch the bus to school. Then waiting all day for him to come home. Sometimes I wish John hasn't told Alex she'd had a brother, Jake is my brother. Whether they like it or not, I'm the one who has taken care of him all this time.

Jake's birthday was yesterday and John decided to trust him with a computer. It was really surprising but I'm glad he got something nice for his birthday, usually it's just cash that he has no idea what to do with. But imagine my surprise when I walked into the pool house and went to go check on Jake and saw Louis Tomlinson on his screen.

Slowly backing out my heart pounds in my chest, what do I do? This is exactly why John should've never given him a computer. If anyone else finds out about this Jake could be in serious trouble. I've gotta do something, maybe if I talk to him, figure out how the heck he knows Louis and why the heck he's talking to him?

I can hear Jake shutting his computer and heading this way so I then around and make myself look busy. Okay, just talk to him and everything will be okay. As soon as Jake walks out his eyes widen at me "hey Brad, when did you get back?" He asks cautiously, definitely smart. I already knew though. I just didn't know why. I

Let's cut to the chase "Jake, since when do you know Louis Tomlinson?" I ask. I can see all the muscles in his back and neck tense up quickly, he slowly turns around "Brad, I promise it's nothing to worry about..." I cut him off and get in his face " nothing to worry about? " I spit out. "Those boys kidnapped your sister, they ruined any chance of you ever meeting her until I found her!"

All I could do was lie to him, this was the truth to me. It was the truth for everyone, except Alex and those boys. I tried losing her after a while, she looked happy and I knew how her father had treated her. I couldn't being myself to do it though. I knew if I did Make would pay the price for it, John always had ways to get me to do my job.

Jake just glared at me "we both know that's not true! She ran away! She was free until YOU brought her back here! How could you do that to her?!" I could tell he was angry but I didn't know what else to do. He wouldn't accept the truth that I did it for him. He'd say he would've rather been in pain then her. Jake got his sisters pride, but he also got her integrity.

"Jake, why are you talking to them? How long have you been going behind my back?" The amount of time he took to think about this question made me know it wasn't good. " a few weeks, we're trying to get Alex out of here. We're never gonna stop trying until she's out. No matter what you do to me" his eyes are just full of hate towards me. The one look I never wanted to put in his eyes. The one I never wanted him to look at me with.

I quickly grab him and pull him into a hug "you are just like your sister" I say quietly, one day I was really going to regret this but today was not that day. "If we are going to get out of here, we need to first. We need to meet up with these boys and figure it out. because this is going to be the most dangerous thing we've ever done kid. " ..........
