Twelve (Nico)

Today Levi and I took the day off so that we could do some wedding planning and finally get to that stage before anything else comes between us. We start with the venue "where do you want to get married? In a church? In a registry office?" I asked beginning the adventure of a lifetime with Levi. "Well first off, I'm Jewish, second of all I don't think I'm too fussed I never wanted a synagogue or a church wedding so I mean do you care?" Asked Levi "I'm not too religious so registry office it is then" I say, Levi nods

We settle on this beautiful little registry office in the centre of Seattle by the space needle that holds around 350 people which is more than enough for the ceremony "where do you want the after party to be?" Asked Levi, I thought for a moment "I just want a massive hall we can book out so we can buy our own decorations and make it look like the party of a life time" I replied, Levi smiled "honestly, I genuinely believe you are the perfect person Nico" said Levi, I kissed him of his forehead and smiled

After a few hours of looking at Halls to book out for a party we finally find one that is really big with a stage for karaoke and we managed to find a DJ too who will let us pick our own music. We decide that Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls is going to be our wedding song because well, it's amazing. We then decide to go try some cakes. "I know a few cake shops near by that we can try first and then we take to google" I say, Levi nods and follows my lead as I take us to the cake shops.

"What cake were you thinking?" Asked Levi, I thought "I'm not too sure" I say "I think perhaps chocolate or red velvet" I continue "I have an idea" says Levi, I prompt him on "why don't we have a four tier cake, two flavours each, one tier is your flavour another tier my flavour, yours then mine and then it's sorted" continued Levi "that's genius, Levi" I say. Levi smiles and runs his hand through his curly hair

We decide on, Chocolate cake, Red velvet, Lemon Drizzle and Victoria sponge. We then decided on the decoration of the cake, it was going to have four tiers that looked like a miniature tower, white fondant all over the cake acting as a background of the decoration, we then had Navy roses added with Navy strips to look like ribbon which separated each tier. We had red and navy decorations covering the cake and it just looked perfect.

It's later on in the day and Levi and I decide to stop for lunch. We decide to go where Levi proposed to me as a little memoir of the start of an amazing journey and lifetime together ahead. I look over at Levi and just stare at him and think about how lucky I am to have him in my life forever. As my soulmate. As the other half I had been searching for to make me a whole and I finally found him. Who would've guessed it would've been Levi Schmidt.

"So Nico, are you thinking of changing your last name to Schmidt or am I changing mine to Kim?" Asked Levi. I never really thought about that. I know traditionally you're meant to take the mans surname but I mean, in a gay couple that's not how it works "I was thinking we could just double barrel it as Kim-Schmidt" I suggest "actually now that I think about it, I feel that Nico Schmidt sounds adorable so let's go with that" I quickly retaliate

"Are you sure? I don't mind double barrelling if that's what you want, sweet" Asked Levi "I'm sure, it sounds weird double barrelling it so I'll be Nico Schmidt, I like it actually and I don't think Levi Kim suits you too well" I say laughing. Levi joins in the laughter. The one thing of many other things we have to do is find a suit

"Nico, do you want a bachelor party?" Asked Levi, I shook my head "no not really, I don't have the time or the friends to plan one so I'm saying out of that, how about you?" I asked in return, Levi shook his head as well "I'm not gonna lie here, I can't be bothered for a bachelor party" replied Levi, I just laughed and so did he. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

We separate ways to find ourselves wedding suits. A few hours later I find the perfect suit, Navy Blue with a white shirt, Navy bow tie and black dress shoes with silver cuff links that looked amazing with the suit.

I meet back up with Levi and we set off back to my apartment. When we get there we set our shopping bags on the floor and go snuggle up on the couch whilst watching 50 first dates.

"Hey, Levi" I say, Levi looks up at me and nods "yeah" replied Levi, I inhale and kiss him on the forehead which grants a smile from him "move in with me" I say, Levi stares at me for I don't know how long before a massive smile spreads across his face "of course" replied Levi "we can save up for a house after the wedding that has a big garden where the kids can play" I say, Levi looks at me as though I'd just explained rocket science

"You want kids?" Asked Levi laughing slightly "yeah of course, do you not?" I asked "of course I want kids, I just didn't think you would too, how many?" Asked Levi, I thought for a moment "two" I replied "genders?" Asked Levi "boy and girl" I replied

"Ok, after the wedding let's adopt one kid and then after a few years adopt another, we want a nice age gap" said Levi, I nodded and kissed him before we went back to the movie.
