Eleven (Levi)

I walked away. Keep walking Levi don't go back, this is what I tell myself until I get a case, I can't go back I need to stand by what I said and walk away I can't keep being the pushover and let my boyfriend think he can push me around and do whatever he wants because that's not on and I stand by that.

"Schmidt here! There's a load of minor cases in the ER I need you to cover" said Bailey, I nodded and made my way to the ER only to find no other than Nico working in the same place. Fan-frickin-tastic. I walked over to the other side of the room and found a patient far away from Nico, she looked about 19, her brown hair tied into a bun and blue eyes coated with worry and was quite distraught

"Heya I'm Dr Schmidt can you tell me what your name is and your age and what's wrong?" I asked as politely and cheerily as I could muster during my state of anger "my name is Phoenix Lexus and I'm 22, I have this stabbing pain in my abdomen right here" said Phoenix as she pointed to the left side of her abdomen "right in going to check this out, I suspect it could be an appendix rupture but I'm going to call for an MRI and come back to you when it's ready, do you have any medical conditions of medical history I should know about?" I asked

"I have epilepsy, I'm asthmatic, claustrophobic and bipolar" replied Phoenix "are you on any medication?" I asked, Phoenix nodded "the meds to control my bipolar mood swings" replied Phoenix "and should their be any issue with you getting into an MRI?" I asked, Phoenix nodded "I'm claustrophobic as I said previously which means I can't handle confined spaces, is there any way you can check this supposed rupture other than an MRI?" Asked Phoenix, concern clouding her eyes

"Yes, I can do an ultrasound, which is what they use to check on baby's but it shows pictures of the abdomen so I can do that if you like" I suggested, Phoenix nodded and I proceeded with the ultrasound. "Unfortunately my prediction was correct and you have a ruptured appendix and will need surgery" I replied, Phoenix nodded and I prepped her. The best part about this surgery *sarcasm intended* is that Nico is in it with me. Fan-frickin-tastic.

Once I made the incision I began repairing the appendix, three hours in a room with Nico. Great. "Levi, I need to tell you something" said Nico, I looked up at him momentarily "go ahead" I say rather bitterly as I carried on with the procedure

"I love you. I do. And I know I've messed up quite frequently recently but I need you to know that I'm not using you and I'm not taking you for granted and I don't want this to be a one sided relationship I want this to work because I genuinely believe you are the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, if you will let me. I know sometimes I don't give you a second chance but it's because I'm a stubborn emotionless guy most of the time who finds it hard to forget" began Nico "is that it?" I asked "no, there's more of an explanation" said Nico

"I remember back in middle school I used to have these friends who would continuously hurt me and I would always forgive them and always to everything for them I forgave them so easily until one time they beat me up, they cornered me at a park and made fun of me for being the gay kid and they kicked me and punched me senseless and ever since I haven't been able to forgive that easily" continued Nico. Shit. I've messed up again.

"Oh, Nico, I'm sorry I know everyone has they're own story and I never heard yours and I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions and having a go at you but I mean I just wasn't in a good mood and I love you too I really do and I never wanted to lose you or hurt you, next time just talk to me ok? I love you" I replied, Nico smiled that dashing smile of his as I closed up.

After I did one final check up on Phoenix I was met by a certain someone pulling me into an on call room. It was Nico. He pushed his lips against mine kissing me passionately. I fell into his kiss and took off his shirt, lust overtaking my senses. I kissed down his abdomen just above the waistline of his pants.

I moved back up to his lips and he then proceeded to take off my shirt. After a long while of lustful kissing and snuggling, we heard someone else trying to get into the on call room and we quickly got into two separate beds realising we never locked the door. We hid under the covers and realised it was only Bailey. Coming in to sleep.

"Oh sorry I didn't realise this room was taken" said Bailey, we both got up and shook our heads "n-no Bailey it's fine we were just leaving the on call room is yours" I reply stuttering a little. Bailey scrutinises us for a moment "am I missing something?" Asked Bailey, we shook our heads "ok well then get out I need my sleep" said Bailey, we nodded and proceeded to leave the room.

As soon as we were out of the hospital we burst out into a fit of laughter at the fact that Bailey was so confused, it wasn't even funny but we laughed anyway. This is what I love about Nico. He always makes me laugh. We hold hands on the way back to his apartment and I have my head on his shoulder the whole way there.
