imagine: eustace catching you and edmund together and telling everyone about, what was supposed to be, your secret relationship.
"how did you sleep last night, eustace?" lucy asks, passing down the bread to his side of the table. eustace almost shivers right then and there as he thinks about last night's events. "horrible." he grumbles, "i can barely get a night's rest with the ship creaking with each sway." edmund rolls his eyes as he takes a long swig from his cup of water, earning a soft chuckle from both his sister and yourself. "this crew are the noisiest sleepers," eustace continues, "and what makes it worse is i found edmund and (y/n) snogging in the gangway." edmund chokes on his drink and sputters out the water, causing it to dribble down his chin. you, with equal surprise, begin to choke on the bread you were eating. "is that so?" caspian queries, with a raised eyebrow. "are you two together?" lucy almost shouts, completely leaning forward in her chair. "um," you start. "well," edmund begins, wiping his chin with the back of his hand. "yes?" you say. there's a heavy silence that hangs over the table and then a breathy chuckle breaks it. "took you two long enough." caspian grins.
