imagine: scaring riley just for the fun of it.
"woah," riley breathes, aiming his flashlight higher to view the decayed statue. it was worn out but still sturdy on its feet, leaving riley in awe at how it was standing even after so many years since it was first erected. it was fascinating, it was-- "bah!" "ah!!!" riley practically jumps out of his own skin; pouncing away from the noise that freighted him and falling flat on his stomach. "you're dead, measle!" the deep, muffled voice says. tears well up in riley's eyes as he struggles to flip himself over-- contemplating if he even wants to look at whoever is about to end his life-- but manages to do so with shaking hands raised. that's when the laughter starts. "you should've seen your face!" you wheeze, "you jumped so far!!" riley's face completely falls as he drops his arms to his sides. "that's not funny, (y/n)!" he almost shouts. "it's kinda funny." you shrug. "no, (y/n). no, it's really not."
