I wandered to the bus stop and sat down on an old stump, pulled out my book and started reading. No one else was there because I had the same ruff night I woke up at 6:03 and thought there's no point trying to get back to sleep, so I got ready and it is now 8:00 so I am fifteen minutes early for the bus, well, at least I'm not late I thought. I was sitting there for five minutes when who do you think came along?.... Good guess, (I'm assuming you guessed right) it was Justin. He really doesn't want to leave me alone does he.

"You got your uniform quickly" I said without really looking up. Rude I know.

"Good morning, princess. Yea, Magnus got it for me yesterday, what do you think?" He gave a little twirl.

"Your early this morning, the bus doesn't come for another ten minutes."

"Oh, I know that, I saw you leave your house, so I thought I would come and talk to you."

"Well I shall put my book away then" I sighed and put it back in my bag. "And you look alright" I'm trying to stay cool. He actually looks amazing...

He grinned at me and sat down next to me. "You enjoying the book then?"

"I'm only on the first chapter."

"I'll ask you again tomorrow then. So, what does your highness plan on doing in the future?"

I thought for a minute than answered, "I'm not too sure yet, but something to do with nature and animals I'm hoping. What about you sir?"

"Again a mystery, something in the Police force I think, that's what I'm aiming for anyway." He smiled gently, then looked around the deserted street. His eyes stopped on a certain house, the house was a small rundown bungalow, with only one small window left unbroken.

"That's sad" he said after staring at the house for a little while, "you know what, I want to go and explore it. It's so intriguing. Come on we've still got five minutes. We'll leave our bags here. Come on" he grabbed my hand and practically dragged me until we got to the little rundown garden gate. "Wow, how spooky is this?". He asked opening the gate and walking inside, he still had a firm grip on my hand so I didn't have much choice.

"Who lived here?" Justin asked curiosity strong in his voice.

"It's been like this for years, the only thing I know about the house is stuff that I've heard about it is that an old couple use to live here about twelve years ago but the husband was murdered on his evening walk and the wife couldn't bare to live here alone." We walked a bit further into what I imagined to be the lounge. We were just looking around when I heard the school bus, I glanced at my watch, 8:17, oh, great. I grabbed Justin and pulled him out of the house to the bus stop. As we climbed the bus Justin explained that he was new and that he would probably be on the bus on a regular basis, when I passed the elderly bus driver he gave me a thumbs up and winked at he, whispering "Go lavender, taking first dibs on the new guy" I rolled my eyes at him. He chuckled.

As I walked along the bus trying to find an empty seat Justin had obviously already chosen where I was going to sit, because when I neared him he patted the chair next to him and grinned. I rolled my eyes and sat down next to him.

"You do remember we only met yesterday, your acting like we're best friends."

"Well your the only person I know so theoretically, you are my best friend." He grinned, I sighed, secretly pleased.

"Well, I'll introduce you to my friends when we get there. I practically only hang out with Katrina, but you'll probably get along well enough with her boyfriend, Calvin. You can't keep hanging around with me though, people would get suspicious."
