Fantasy Oneshot - Nightmare

I run and run until I end up nowhere. Darkness followed me. Shadow's hunt me, covering every light that may come my way. White noise filled the air. Atmosphere turned eerie cold. I involuntary cringed, everything's sending shivers down my spine.

I stop. I held the walls and pant for air. But, even though I am exhausted enough, I continue on running. Running away from the shadows.

I am really tired. Too tired.

Everything within me is too tired. My feet hurts, my throat's as dry as a desert. Everything within me is too tired to even take another step. I felt so weary, everything starts to get blurry.

"Then stop." My subconscious told me.

No. I can't... I can't stop. It's chasing me.

It's running after me, running without stopping a pace....

I can still hear it's footsteps, too quick, too close, following every way I chose.

It's getting closer, closer and closer. I can hear it's growl, the clashing of blades underneath his cloak. I pant, I close my eyes.

No stop! Don't---

"Ahhh!"

"Serina! Serina! Wake up! Serina!"

"Mom! She's sweating over and over. Please do something."

"Ahhh!"

"Serina! It's us! Come on! Open your eyes!"

Darkness, all I saw is eternal darkness. I can hear voices, it's calling me. They're calling me... They're calling me...

Soon, blurry images filled my visions and starts to get bigger and bigger. I run, I tried to run, but the voices starts to get louder and louder and until mixing up altogether, creating such a demonic gibberish that replays over and over my mind.

"Asdfghjklnxnekwkbndklsoubemalxsmnsbx."

"Ahhh!"

"Serina!"

"Mom! She's not responding! She's convulsing! We got to call an ambulance, now!"

"Ahhh!"

"Please hold on, Serina. Please..."

Darkness, again engulfed me. Everything suddenly turned eerily silent.

I stood up, I walk. I don't know where to, but I'm walking. I just keep on walking, step by step, going on and on...

Soon, I just found myself standing over a high cliff facing the east. The sky's red and as fiery as flame's glow. Black birds are swirling all over the midair, squeaking, screeching. Then, black clouds starts to gather. Thunderous booming of thunders and sharp flashes of lightning, all of it follows after.

Birds screeched, lightning strikes, thunders began to get louder and louder. Then, fire began to takes place, hell materialized.

Then the inferno walk by me. It gazed at me with it's deep blood-like orbs.

"Die!" It shouted with the voice of destruction.

"Ahhh!"

Thunders boomed, lightning intensifies, fire began to deteriorate every life. It's coming closer, closer. I step back, I walk back. But a small stone fell down.

Little did I know, it's too late...

"Ahhh!"

"Nurse! Nurse!"

"Please help my daughter."

"Ahhh!"

"Serena, hold on!"

"Ahhh!"

I found myself falling, falling and hell's chasing after me. I am falling down deep straight to the abyss of oblivion. But space warped and I fell into the water, deep, black water.

I am drowning. My body feels too tired. Everything within me screams rest.

"Please! Serina. Wake up!"

"We're begging you! Wake up..."

"Serina..."

"Please..."

I really wanted to close my eyes...

"Serina!"

Panting, I jolted up awake. Then, the moment I opened my eyes, silhouttes of two person came into my vision. Soon, the blurry silhoutte began to get clearer and clearer, and then I recognized those two.

"Mom.... Serene..."

She hugged me as tight as she could and silently cried on my shoulders. "Serina, dear. You scared me. Don't ever do that again. You're scaring the hell out of me."

As she let go, I look at her in confusion. I took a glance all over room and all I can see is white walls, white things, everything in white. Am I in hospital?

"What happened?" Serene asked.

I look down and heave a sigh.

"Nothing, just some nightmares. Just some terrible nightmares."
