It's a weird feeling calling David her 'friend'. Her usual silent apartment is disrupted by his laughs. The couch starting to become her new bed with the other side occupied by David, sometimes waking up to his presence and other days with an extra blanket and a small note. Her days now filled with David and Jason dragging her along to events and hangouts with the two.

The change of pace is overwhelming but welcomed. Quinn wonders how David gets any sleep with his busy schedule knowing she gets sleepy from just a night out with him but he's still buzzing with energy. It's intense but she can't deny the thrill that runs through her at the exciting moments she gets to experience. Like now.

Sitting in David's new red Ferrari, Quinn is letting her hand hang off the side as the air rushes past her fingers while David sits in the driver's seat belting out 'Dancing Queen' for the fifth time in a row.

She feels him nudge her arm for attention. Turning away from the scenery, she looks to David to see him send her an encouraging glance as he sings. "You're in the mood for a dance and when you get the chance." His hand waves for her to continue but she just manages a laugh and a shake of her head but that just makes him yell over the music. "If you sing the last chorus with me, I'll let you drive my Ferrari tomorrow."

Quinn eyes him at his wager and finally nods her head, starting out slow and quiet. "Looking out for another, anyone will do."

David is singing to his heart's content as the wind whips his hair across his eyes. "You're in the mood for a dance and when you get the chance."

It's not until the middle of the chorus when Quinn really starts to raise her voice to match his, shimmying in her seat slightly. "You can dance, you can jive."

David's eyes crinkle at her little dance knowing she can do more which prompts him to start the song over. He sees her shoulders shake in laughter as the beginning starts. "Again?" She asks.

He moves his shoulders in a dance with a nod of his head. "Ooooh, you can dance, you can jive."

Quinn's shoulders loosen up as the song plays, dancing and singing along beside David. She can't remember when's the last time she felt this carefree. "Having the time of your life. Ooh see that girl."

Too soon he's turning into her apartments and parking. "Are you coming inside?" Quinn asks, unbuckling her seatbelt.

She sees him bite his lip in thought and she opens her mouth to say 'it's okay' when he reverses the car. "Let me put the car in the garage before we go inside."

The warm feeling spreading in her chest lets her know that she really missed having a friend around. She waits for him to park before getting out of the car. "Any new rom coms?"

"'About Time'?"

Quinn's face lights up at the name, her mouth making an 'o'. "I've actually been wanting to watch that."

It's almost routine once they are inside; Quinn setting up whatever streaming device while David picks out their blankets before accepting the remote from Quinn. Their nights together are quiet for the most part except for the few sniffles because David knows how to pick those weepy movies.

The end credits start to move across the screen making Quinn glance over to David. His eyes are glued to his phone as his thumbs type out a message before clicking his phone off. Rolling over, he glances at Quinn and raises his brows in surprise. "You're awake?"

Quinn's light laugh touches his ears. "I know I know. I'm actually surprised I'm not asleep."

"Well..." David runs a hand through his hair, propping himself up on his elbow, "did you want to watch another movie?"

"Have you seen 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'?" At the shake of David's head, Quinn gasps. "You haven't? It's where I get most of my fashion inspiration from."

David blew a laugh through his nose. "What do you mean?"

"Audrey Hepburn." Quinn throws her blanket aside and strides to her room with David scrambling to follow behind. "She was a style icon in the 60's. Most of the clothes I wear are her type of style but I wanted to add my own personal touch hence the pink."

David sunk down onto Quinn's bed, watching her pull outfits from her closet and hold them out for him to look at. "Did she wear a different color?"

"She wore mostly white and black."

A grin spreads on David's face. "Oh, so like me?"

Quinn's eyebrows scrunch together in thought. "You know, I don't think I've seen you in anything other than black."

David shrugged, leaning back on his elbows. "It's my signature color."

"Oh, is it?"

Quinn's scoff makes David laugh. "I mean it might as well be."

Plopping down on her bed, Quinn takes a look around her room before asking, "Is your room black to?"

David blows air through his lips and raises his eyebrows. "No? I think the word I'm suppose to say is Modern?"

This makes Quinn giggle and settle back onto her bed. "But technically yes?"

"Technically? Yes."

"I have to see this one day."

"Oh, you will. My decor is much better." Quinn slaps David's arm as he chuckles to himself.

"Just because you don't like pink- I hate black." Quinn countered, leaning on her elbows.

David turned to lean on his own, matching Quinn's teasing smile with his own. "Oh really? You could live without black? The most basic color?" His eyes trail back to her closet that has the color peeking out in some clothes.

"Yeah I could."

His smile seemed to widen with his tongue in cheek, his dark eyes glittered with mischief. "Wanna shake on it?"

Quinn sat herself up, curling her legs under her as she held out her hand to David who pushed himself up to meet her shake. "How are you gonna know what I'm wearing everyday? I could lie."

David shrugged, "You'll have to send me a picture everyday we don't see each other."

"Okay perv."

"Shut up." Quinn bubbled in laughter at the pink dusting his cheeks.

Bumping her feet into his legs, she silently prompted him to move so she could lay more comfortably. "What's the reward?"

"Hmm good question." David moved to the other side of the bed and settled into the sheets. "Lets both think of one but not tell the other. Adds thrill."

Quinn shook her head lightly, feeling the weight in her eyelids grow heavier. "You're crazy."

"So I've been told."

Their words grew quieter with longer pauses in between until only soft, even breathing is the only noise between them.
