There are two stances that can be taken here. It is true that there are two sides to every story, no matter how grim and dark that story is.

What is SeaWorld?

What is SeaWorld?

According to Wikipedia, "DescriptionSeaWorld is a United States theme park chain headquartered out of Orlando, Florida. It is a proprietor of marine mammal parks, oceanariums, animal theme parks, and rehabilitation centers owned by SeaWorld Entertainment."

Stop. Focus on that word right there, "rehabilitation centres."

To rehabilitate means to "restore to health or normal life by training and therapy" and when you look at this in isolation. How can it be a bad thing? SeaWorld has "CLAIMED" to have rescued and rehabilitated animals from the sea. Even going as far to publicly name and mention them.

"The rescue, rehabilitation and release of JJ, the Grey Whale

In 1997, SeaWorld San Diego was asked to rescue a grey whale calf that was near death. Their killer whale facility was the only facility on the West Coast with pools large enough to accommodate a grey whale calf. After 15 months of rehabilitation, JJ was deemed releasable by the federal government. JJ was then returned to the Pacific Ocean." (Source: awesomeocean.com)
