When she arrived, she headed to Jimin's office only to he greeted with an absolute mess. Files, books and papers were scattered on the floor as if a thief had just dug up the whole office. Her shoulder's dropped and shortly after, her phone vibrated. She feared that it was Taemin again but the screen flashed 'Huijang-nim'. She heaved a sigh of relief and answered his call.
'How's the office?' He asked, holding his laughter.
'Terrible,' She couldn't help but blurt out.
'Well, good luck,' He responded and hanged up.
'Well, it's now or never,' She mumbled under her breath and began cleaning.
She arranged back all the scattered this alphabetically the way Jimin wanted. Polished the furniture and made the whole room spotless. Moreover, as much as she wanted to finish everything as fast as she could, she received various calls from clients and important people that set up an appointment with Jimin. The conversation would go longer than five minutes then after, Jimin had called again, with his only purpose to delay her work.
After cleaning everything, she toppled down the couch, her eyes wandering around and congratulating herself for finishing the tasks. Well, unfortunately, except for one. Her heart sank to her stomach, upon laying eyes on the two boxes of documents that she hadn't even began to work on. She pushed herself up from the couch and headed ro Jimin's desk. Unaware of the time passing, the employees in her department had began their lunch and she was still there, stuck on arranging the documents alphabetically.
Yoongi passed by Jimin's office and spotted her. With a smile on his face, and recalling a special someone in his heart, he headed to the room. Everytime he'd look at Ha Eun, Yoongi would always be reminded of the person that he cared and loved so dearly.
'Lemme guess, another one of those tasks Jimin asked you to do,' He began and stood by the desk.
'Sajang-nim!' She exclaimed and smiled brightly. She stood up and bowed to him. 'Oh, ne. He told me arrange them,'
'And clean up the whole office,' Yoongi continued only receiving a laugh from Ha Eun.
She sat back down on Jimin's chair and Yoongi opened the other box to help her. He hadn't had a chance to do so last night, he thought that he might do it now.
'Sajang-nim, I'll do that. It's okay,' She said, interrupting him.
'Ani. Gwaenchana. I wasn't able to help you last night,' Yoongi replied.
'Oh, it's okay, Sajang-nim. It's really fine,'
'I insist, Secretary Jung,'
Still hesitant, Ha Eun gave in and smiled. Her task were finished earlier than she bad expected.
'Kamsahabnida, Sajang-nim,' Ha Eun bowed. 'Because of me, you had missed your lunch,'
'If that's the case, then, do you mind joining me for lunch?' He asked, with a pleading look.
'Pardon?'
'Join me for lunch. I'm starving. Consider it as your payback from all the help I gave,' He said.
'Ah... geugon (that is..) ---'
'Zip it. Let's go,' Yoongi interrupted and pushed her out of Jimin's office.
They arrived in one of the restaurants near their building. The shop was nearly full house from all the costumers that had entered and fortunately, they were able to get a seat. Yoongi recommended to Ha Eun the restaurant's best seller food.
While waiting for their order, Ha Eun felt slightly awkward but smiled anyway.
'I heard you joined Jimin for breakfast and he gave you his car,' Yoongi grinned sheepishly.
'Ah, ne, sajang-nim. I didn't want to accept it but then, huijang-nim said that he'd fire me if I didn't take it,' She replied.
'Ah, must be the reason why he called,' Yoongi said and Ha Eun could only nod.
'That car was the first car he bought. You can say that, it's actually his favourite,' Yoongi said.
'Eh?' She exclaimed and looked stunned.
Yoongi perplexed for a while, was clueless about her reaction then he had realised it. 'Oh, that's not what I meant. I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I'm just saying that you must have done something that made him proud and happy that's why he gave you one of his favourite things,'
'I still feel bad,' She mumbled under her breath.
'Don't be. It's weird of him to be like that after all these years but it's a good thing,' Yoongi explained which made Ha Eun curious.
'Sajang-nim, do you mind if I ask something?' Ha Eun inquired and received a green response from Yoongi.
'You said, it's weird for huijang-nim to be like that after all these years. What happened that he changed?' She asked, full of curiousity.
'Ah, the only person that can answer that question is Jimin,' He replied.
'I see. I understand,'
'But its best that you don't bring it up since it's one of the things that he doesn't really like to talk about,'
'Ne, sajang-nim,'
Then shortly after, their food had arrived. In the midst of her eating her lunch, her phone vibrated.
'Ne, huijang-nim?'
'Jigeum eodi issni (where are you now)?' He asked through the line.
'I'm out for lunch break, huijang-nim. Do you have anything for me to do?'
'Ah, ne. After your lunch, go to that restaurant where we went last week, get me the most expensive meal they have, two extra large burgers, freshly cooked french fries. Then head to the cafe, buy me mocha latte with two shots if sugar only. Send it here at my house,'
Nearly choking, she chugged her water while Yoongi looked at her, confused.
'Ne, huijang-nim,' Ha Eun replied then Jimin hanged up instantly.
'Lemme guess, he's ordering you around again,' Yoongi shook his head. 'Jimin's a pain, isn't he?'
'Oh, ani, ani. To be honest, he isn't. He's just very bossy and I guess, as his secretary, I have to follow everything he says. After all, I'm paid for that and not by slacking around,' She defended.
'Ah, I see,' Yoongi nodded then thought, you're just like her. In every single way.
