September 17, 2010.

Ha Eun was awoken by a piercing pain from her stomach that she had immediately assumed was the result of her starvation from last night and exhaustion to even eat. She clutched into her stomach and headed to the kitchen. She swung the fridge door open, revealing her emoty fridge. There was unfortunately no food after not being able to go groceries due her hectic times that most of the time just comes up with Jimin's mood. Instead, she grabbed a glass of water and chugged it. Unexpectedly, her stomach churned and it cause an even more immense pain. She struggled to take a seat on the chair and as soon as she did, it was as if the pain disappeared in an instant upon seeing the time. 7.10

'Not again!' She groaned and rushing to the bathroom.

'This man is driving me crazy,' she muttered angrily to herself while tucking in her maroon long sleeved, button up shirt inside her white pencil skirt.

Quarter to eight, she left the house carrying the files of contracts and reports as well as Jimin's suit. The cab she had called was waiting and before 8AM even struck on Jimin's watch, Ha Eun came in, walking along the rocky path to his main door. He watched from his veranda as the woman bowed at him and smile whilst the struggle she was experiencing. He welcomed her by the door and she said her greetings and passing the files to him before proceeding her way in to Jimin's walk in closet. He trailed behind her, reading the papers that he had read last night while Ha Eun arrange his suits.

While Ha Eun blabbered that she had cancelled all Jimin's meetings ans appointments today and move them to tomorrow, the male examined her pale face a little longer and recalling the words of Yoongi from last night.

'Did you sleep?' Jimin asked but with a rough tone.

'Ne, huijang-nim,' She relied with a smile.

'Why do you look so pale? Did you eat?' He asked again, feeling uncomfortable of showing his concern to someone he barely knew. He wasn't the man he was before and a similar courtesy that he showed other women three years ago made him feel different.

'I'll be grabbing a bite on the way to the office, huijang-nim,' Ha Eun smiled and prepared to leave. 'Have a good rest day,'

She was headed to the door when he decided to call her back after a quick debate with himself.

'Join me for breakfast,' He announced, feeling awkward but braced them up with his cold and dark aura.

'Pardon?'

'Join me for breakfast. I don't want to see you in my office tomorrow, pale and dead because you didn't eat. Plus, you need energy to clean up my office,' He explained.

'Right, of course. It's all about the cleaning,' She muttered.

'Are you saying something?'

'I said I'll be joining you for breakfast, huijang-nim,' She said and beamed.

Jimin hesitated before he gestured her to follow him to the dining room. Food was laid on the table and which surprised Ha Eun. The food prepared could feed more than 20 people already but she was starving and everything looked so delicious. While Jimin took his seat at the end of the table, he gestured her to take her seat beside him on the right.

'What do you want to eat?' He asked, taking the various dishes and offering it to her.

Bewildered, she sighed. She took the plates from him and gave him a  portion of the food he was offering. He was, as a matter of fact, giving her his favourite kinds of dishes.

'Ya! What are you doing?' He asked. She gave no response and merely added an ample amount of food on his plate.

She headed to the kitchen, making him coffee then coming back with it on her hands.

'Ya! Will you sit down and eat?' Jimin scolded and took a grasp of her arm then pulling her down to her seat. Ha Eun, shocked of his actions, was speechless and so as Jimin himself.

He cleared his throat and kept his hand away from her. 'Stop and eat,'

'N-ne, huijang-nim,' She stammered.

The breakfast was awfully quiet regardless the contact of utensils with each other and the plates the would accidentally collide with one another when one dish was taken. Other than that, no conversation was made between Ha Eun and Jimin.

Ha Eun's phone on the table suddenly vibrated, flashing an unknown number on the screen.

'Yeoboseyo?'  She answered cheerfully anticipating it to be one of Jimin's clients or co-businessmen.

'Ha Eun?' The voice of the man from the other line made her stop breathing. She recognized it immediately. Her heart raced and her hands trembled in terror causing the fork to drop on the table with a loud sound that caught Jimin's attention.

'Eotteohge doen geoyeyo (what happened)?' Jimin asked quietly.

'Bogosipeo,' The man added.

Ha Eun's throat went dry and words couldn't come out from her lips.

'Ha Eun?' The man spoke once more which brought her back to Earth. She mastered up all her bravery and decided to speak up.

'Please, excuse me,' She told Jimin while covering the microphone of her phone then leaving the dining room.

'What was that? She looked like she saw a ghost,' Jimin muttered.

'Wonhaneunge mwoya (what do you want), Taemin?' she asked softly, cautious that Jimin won't hear.

'I want to see you again. Please,' He begged.

'Bwo? Ani, hal su eobs-eo. Na babbeuda. (No, I can't. I'm busy),' She sternly answered.

'Ha Eun, I'm sorry. Please, just let me see you. Just one time,' Tae Min begged once more.

'Nan shireo (I don't want). Dasineun jeonhwa hajima (Don't call me again),' She responded adamantly and hanged up.

Scared, she took a deep breath, plastered a smile like she always did and went back to Jimin.

Taemin, threw his phone after Ha Eun hanged up.
'How dare she hang up on me? You watch out, Ha Eun,'

'Who was it?' Jimin asked Ha Eun as she took her seat to finish her food, although she had lost her appetite.

'Mian-habnida, huijang-nim. It was my mom, she said that my sister got sick and sprained her ankle. That's all,' She lied.

Somehow, Jimin didn't want to buy sensing that she was hiding something.

After breakfast, Ha Eun had decided to leave.

'Secretary Jung,' Jimin called as he approached her with a key on his hand.

'Ne, huijang-nim?'

'Bring the car. It's yours,' He said and handed her the keys.

'Pardon?' Her eyes widened and Jimin merely smiled and pressed the control of the key, that alarmed the blue Mazda parked in his garage.

'Consider it a gift for your hardwork, Secretary Jung. Take it,' Jimin said.

'I can't. That's too much, huijang-nim. I can't accept it,' She replied.

'Well, your choice. Get the car or you're fired and homeless?' He threatened.

Ha Eun was stunned before she began to laugh out loud thinking that Jimin was messing around.

'Huijang-nim, I didn't know you knew how to make jokes,' She said between her fits of laughter.

'Bwo? Jokes?' Jimin furrowed his brow. 'You think I'm joking? Well, let's see,'

He pulled out his phone and dialled Yoongi's number. Ha Eun widened her eyes and instantly snatched the key from Jimin's hands. 'I'll take it,'

'I thought so,' He smirked and put down his phone.

God, this man never fails to make my life so hard. Well, except the car.

'Kamsahabnida, huijang-nim. I better be going,' She bowed then left with the car.

She couldn't help but admire it inside out. She speculated that without eating for two years, she'd be able to buy a car like this of her own.
