Virgil awoke to a quiet house. Which was strange to hear considering there was rarely ever a quiet moment. He looked to the bedside table for his phone and saw the time was 11:45 am.
'Wow, I slept late.'
A text displayed on the screen: Hey kiddo! We just left! Feel free to do whatever you do when your home alone! I'm sorry you couldn't go :( I won't ask why cause Loganberry said it was a 'Personal Issue' but I hope it's not too serious xoxoxo 🐶💙
