They came all at once, then started one by one started fading. Jean tried to grasp as much as she could before she stirred herself awake.
She pried her eyes open and groaned at the dull throbbing pain in her head.
"Looks like she's awake", a voice said.
"Cool. You guys can go now."
She growled and turned to her side. Leaning against the door was boy. He looked Asian, about the same age as her- maybe older- with short brown hair and eyes. He had a cocky smirk on his face as he walked over to the chair beside her bed.
"Sup greenie?"
She inspected him with skeptic eyes before she muttered,"Hi."
He chuckled and leaned back in his chair. He sighed and said "Oh yeah. You're welcome."
She squinted her eyes in confusion, silently asking him to go on.
"I found you in sector 4 and you looked about close to dying pretty much", he explained, examining her face curiously.
As the memories flooded back from her day in the maze, all she could say was "oh."
He leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees.
"Anyways Alby has some stuff to do so I'm supposed to ask you some stuff."
She nodded and sat up slowly, her arms felt like they'd snap under her own weight.
"Ok. We'll start simple. So what's your name? And what do you remember?"
