The two boys sat by the river and watched as fish jumped as they headed up stream. for the first time in the weeks Kirishima has know the angry blonde this was the first time he had seen him at peace. Bakugou turned his head towards the young dragon and looked puzzled at the face he was making. "What do you want?" He asked sounding a bit annoyed by him staring. Kirishima laughed and scratched the back of his head. "nothing!" he said continuing to laugh. "Just I've never seen you so relaxed." Bakugou's face heated up and he quickly turned away. "Shut up!" Kirishima looked back at the water seeing his reflection. His scales shined as the sun hit them. It was hard to believe that just two weeks ago he was near death in this very river. "So" Bakugou said in attempts to break the silence. Clearing his throat Bakugou spoke. "Do you have a family?" Bakugou didn't dare look at Kirishima as he asked this. Kirishima looked at Bakugou a bit confused, but smiled. "nope" He said crossing his legs and leaning back on his hands. A bit puzzled by his reaction Bakugou looked up. "And you're not sad about that?" Kirishima looked up at the sky and finally laid back closing his eyes as the warm sun heated his face. "It's hard to be sad about something when you've never had it." Kirishima opened his eyes and looked at Bakugou for a brief moment watching him stand. "we should head back" he said grabbing the fishing net.
That evening as Bakugou was away hunting Kirishima decided to search through the house. He looked through the different drawers and cabinets only to find the same boring things. As he opened the last chest he saw a few books and letters. As he opened the book his heart stopped. It was pictures of a man and a woman. The woman looked similar to Bakugou but obviously older. The words on the bottom read. King and Queen Bakugou. As he read through the pages it showed their life story of the meeting to them having a son. Kirishima looked at the picture of the Queen holing her son and his heart felt heavy as he read the bottom. My beautiful son, no matter were you are, and where life takes you. You are my son, my love. Tears peeked at the corners of Kirishima,s eyes. It has been so long since he had cried like this. Yes he has cried over physical pain, but the first time in years his heart was broken.
Bakugou stood outside the door listening to Kirishima's sobs
