King and his sister Elaine started to whip up a delicious breakfast fit for fairy royalty, an idea he came up with when overjoyed by his sister's admission that she had read Diane's emotions and thoughts the other day that revealed her to be flustered about their night dancing. King turned to his sister and said, "I'll make a large pile of crepes for the meal and you make the filling. I was thinking we'd go savory and sweet. I know we usually eat our crepes with fruit, but Diane loves meat." Elaine smiled at her brother in agreement and said, "So does Ban, so let's do it!"

The two finished their cooking and set up a table as a breakfast crepe bar for their friends, topped off with fresh orange and lemonade juices they squeezed afterwards. King shouted, "RISE AND SHINE! BREAKFAST IS READY!" One by one members of the group crawled out from their rooms and walked to the tavern main area to find the breakfast they made. "Woah, maybe I should fire Ban and make Elaine and King the head cooks of the Boars' Hat.", said Meliodas. "No way, Captain. This is a one time thing, we just wanted everyone to experience a Fairy breakfast.", replied King. Everyone stacked their plates high at the bar and sat down at the table, talking about how tasty it was and the festivities from the night before.

Diane turned to King after licking her lips and said, "Mmmm, this is so delicious! You even made grilled pork at the risk of Hawk attacking you. It is my favorite since I was little!" King grinned at her and replied, "I remembered, Diane. I made it just for you, though Elaine might also claim it is just for Ban. Hehe." She laughed along with him and said, "Well, thank you...and thank you for last night too, it was really special to me. I haven't had that much fun dancing in years." Gowther butted in, "Didn't you dance with Howzer last night and a few months ago?" Diane's face turned red and she ran to the bathroom to escape the awkward conversation Gowther's comment was leading into. "Sorry, I uh.. Have to used the bathroom. Yeah..."

King looked at Gowther and pat him on the back, this was one of the few times his comrade's complete lack of polite social behavior benefit him. Nonetheless, he still felt bad for Diane, and walked over to Elizabeth asking her, "Hi, Princess. Diane just ran to the bathroom. I think she was a bit embarrassed by something Gowther said, could you check on her for me?" Elizabeth nodded and exclaimed, "Of course I will, Sir King. Also, thank you for the delicious breakfast."

Elizabeth made her way to the bathroom and knocked three times while saying, "Lady Diane, it's me.. I know you're in there, can we talk?" Suddenly the door unlocked and Elizabeth slipped in to find Diane sitting on the counter of the sink with a face as red as a tomato. "Oh, Diane.... What is wrong. You can tell me anything." "Elizabeth, Gowther said something that embarassed me. I told King I hadn't had so much fun dancing in a long time, as when I did with him. Then Gowther asked what about Howzer... and it made me realize that it probably sounds bad that I said I had more fun dancing with King then with Howzer."

The princess replied, "It does sound a bit bad, Diane, but I am sure they won't tell anyone else you said that. Is that really how you feel?" Diane started to cry softly, "Yes, Elizabeth. I did have more fun with King, and I can't help but feel a rush of the feelings I had before he left me. I love Howzer, I just don't think I'm fully over King like I thought."

"Diane, I had no idea you told Howzer you loved him... I know he told me he has been in love with you for a long time now and that must mean a lot to him for you to return his feelings. I can imagine it is hard to get over someone you love, like with King though...but if you are going to be with Howzer, it has to be because you love him the most and don't have any leftover feelings for King.", said Elizabeth.

"I know you're right, Elizabeth. It is only fair...I just... I don't want to lose Howzer. I love him and he has been the most reliable and supportive boyfriend. I am afraid if I can't get rid of my feelings for King, I will end up with a broken heart for the rest of my life.", cried Diane. Elizabeth responded confidently, "Diane! Don't say that. You need to follow what your heart tells you, even if you are scared. You owe honesty to both yourself and to Howzer." The two girls then hugged and left the bathroom to return to the group.
