"You still want to go to the park?" Queries Luna. Her wings fluttering. The looked like a monarch butterfly with the color scheme of ones dreams. Still. It is beautiful. It is calming
Embers wings are resemble the fury of a fire, yet was sleek as a shark. Like her usual color scheme, it too is dressed in the color of flames. Ready to strike fear into any man. And it did strike fear into you. Her broad shoulders and muscular figure didn't help. She could easily crush your head in her palms.
"Yes," you nod. Curiosity always getting the best of you. So of course you wanted to go. Luna gives a nod a small gracious nod at that.
Soon you started to head out. I order for y'all both to go to the park.
She had her white cane. And of course you followed the blind girl. Honestly this plan was not well thought out. Though you will soon learn that most things aren't. That is only your destiny. Plans that are half cooked, entirely rare, or nonexistent. And as of know. The thought process for this hasn't even seen the heat of the fire. Nor will it ever will.
You look around when you got to the park. The trees enchant you. The grass beneath your feet. A smile across your face as you heard the birds. This was new. Different. You loved every second of it.
"Stay here," luna says walking away from you.
Of course you did as told. Though it didn't come across your thoughts as you were so well distracted by the environment around you. Every breeze a new sensation. You were in a new world and ready to take in all of it.
That was until someone came across you. "I haven't seen you around here before," a voice said. Knocking you out of your awestruck wonder.
"I'm not from around here," you have yet to take in how they look.
"So you're a tourist?"
"What's a tourist?"
"Well, someone who is staying in another place for a few days."
"Well, I don't know how long I'm gonna be staying here,"
"Ah, so a traveler," she nods. You could here the whimsical beat in her voice. Like a bird's song.
"I guess, I don't really know what I am," you reply. Actually getting a good look of this stranger. They were no fairy. Not a creature you recognize and for sure you've never dreamed of such things. Her skin is pink. As if she fell asleep in the sun and got burnt. Her eyes were like strawberries picked on a fine summer day. Her hair is black and curled in towards her cheeks. Reminder you of the photos you've seen. The roaring 20's they were called. Her hair is a lovely shade of blonde. She had two black things on the side of her head. They material looks similar to bone or horns. They started to form a double helix. Well would but were cut down so they barely grew an inch. She wore a grey sweater and a black skirt that didn't go past her knees. and a hospital mask.
"What's your name? I'm Cathy!"
"The Powerless,"
"You must come from an old timey fairy family! I'll call you Pippin!"
"Pippin," you repeated that. You pondered it. You were never addressed as not your title. But you'll make the acceptation for her. You don't know why but something is nudging you on to do so. And it can't possibly be the narrative. Though. You accept this as you usually do. So to Cathy you're like everyone else. You have a normal human name and no title.
Someone was runny after Cathy. She grabbed your hand and was running away. You had no clue what was going on and of course ran with her. Ignoring what Luna told you.
You two ran into a shadow filled spot and next thing you know, you're up a tree. Luna won't be able to find you now. "How did we get here?" You ask. She covers your mouth. Putting a finger to her lips. Clear that you need to be quiet.
Hopefully you'll find the answers to all your questions later. As of now. You waited for her to take her hand for your mouth. You're not a baby. You know how to stay silent without a hand over your mouth.
