She's Closer

Another Person's POV

"Master." I called him from his back as he is facing the entire city from up here.

"Do you need anything?" He asked me still looking far.

"It's about my child." I said that made him look at me.

I've been bringing this topic up every time that I talk to him, I just couldn't understand why does it need to be her?

"We've already talked about this." He said seriously. I walk closer to him as I wanted him to hear me clearly.

"But Master, she's a good girl, she never done anything to deserve this kind of punishment." I know it's no use even if I give thousands of reason to abort this mission, but as long as it's not happening yet, I think I may still have a chance.

"I know, but we could do nothing, you're just a guardian and I'm just a grim reaper. Whatever is asked from above should be done here." He said that made my tear fall on to my cheeks.

"Listen, she may not done anything bad, but I think she needs to learn something, that's why this will happen." He said as my tears continue to fall.
He looked me in the eyes and wiped my tears.

"Did you send that note to her?" I asked and I saw his expression changes.

"Did your human friend tell you? Don't do anything that can harm you and your mission. This is your last, and after this you'll finally get the happiness that you've been longing for." He said reminding me.

"For you to protect your child, you need to be strong. After years of being punished, you'll finally be free." He said and again face the city with his arms on his back.

"Prepare yourself, She's close to her fate." He again said. I just closed my eyes and wiped my tears, I let out a deep breath to control my emotions. I need to be strong for her. My child, we will accomplish this together.

As I was going down, I smiled weakly observing the people having their own doings. Did this people even think that something like us exist? To some, yes and to some, no and to others, maybe. I get excited watching movies or dramas about us but ended up being disappointed since they've got the wrong idea about us. Well, it's a rule for us to keep this as a secret, that no human being will know about who we trully are and what do we really do. But as for me, I get caught by one of my human friends, that's why I was punished to stay in this human body and get more mission than usual.

We still have few minutes before the recording starts, hyung and noona were both playing around laughing and chatting. Lisa kept her smile watching the two of them being crazy. I wanted to be silent and clear my mind about what I saw earlier. But that man keeps getting into my mind. I shook my head to erase this thought but there's something strange about him.

I immediately looked at Lisa when I heard her fake laugh while talking to hyung. I know her really well that I could already tell weather she's really laughing or just forcing herself. Did she just fake her laugh? Why?

"Yah, did you guys faught? You both were really silent." Dara noona whispered to Lisa but I could still hear them since they are just beside me. I can see in my peripheral vision that Lisa just shook her head as a response to her. Her face clearly shows sadness.

"Then why are you guys so silent this whole time?" She whispered again but this time they were both looking at me while I keep my head straight pretending that I wasn't listening.
