Chapter 36 - Class 1-A vs Mirio

Izuku was taking out the trash due to his punishment until he was startled by a face poking out of the building next to him "hey why are you taking out trash when you could just incinerate it yourself" the stranger asked Izuku.

Izuku was too stunned to speak and when he did it was barely heard "yeah i'll do that". The face sunk back into the wall and Izuku sighed and said "knew I shouldn't have taken the brownie from Rikido". Then the face popped back up from the ground and spoke again "you're that energetic first year aren't you, the one that destroyed the entire testing area right"?

"Who are you" Izuku asked but the face started sinking and said "you'll find out soon". Izuku took the head's advice and incinerated the trash and ran back to the dorms.

The next day

Izuku was catching up using Iida's notes until Aizawa announced the three strongest students of U.A 'The Big Three' Izuku looked up and saw the student from the ground the day before and he was stuck in realization... For about 3 seconds then he was instantly back to his notes.

They all introduced themselves separately "I'm Tamaki Amajiki" the black haired boy started off he looked at them all for a second then instantly turned around facing the chalkboard and commented on how he really wanted to go home.

Next was the blue haired teen that made Mineta lust hard. Izuku getting very annoyed with the loud chants Mineta was making looked to him with a stare that instantly sent shivers down the dwarfs spine instantly shutting him up.

"Well I'm Nejire Hado and wow all your unique features are so cool" she then went to comment about all the features separating the students including Shoto's scar, Mina's horn, Mezo's mask as if she was taking mental pictures of what she saw about them.

Aizawa noted how the big three lacked the rationality of a normal person.

The last student reassured Shota that he shouldn't worry since he's the star today then introduced himself to class 1-A "I'm Mirio Togata also of the Big Three".

Mirio took a deep breath and yelled:" THE JOURNEY AHEAD"! silence quickly followed him and after class 1-A sat obviously confused he said "you were supposed to say "will be full of difficulties" making it THE JOURNEY AHEAD WILL BE FULL OF DIFFICULTIES"!

Class 1-A sat in silence again looking at him with confusion again "I see you don't understand I understand that feeling trust me... You must be excited to have your hero license as first years".

Then Mirio clapped his hands and said "I know what to do why don't all of you team up to fight me" he said pointing to his chest "as long as it's alright with you Mr. Aizawa".

Shota put in some eye drops and said "do what you want".

Gym Gamma

Everyone was in their hero suits and were all ready to fight Mirio except Izuku who sat next to Aizawa still copying Iida and Momo's notes.

Eijiro asked Mirio "Are you sure you want us to attack you all at once" Mirio continued to smile and said "Of course" Eijiro started stretching and said "You don't think of us as small fry do you" Mirio scratched the back of his head and laughed "well actually that's exactly what I think of you... you attack me whenever or wherever you want... now who's first"?

Eijiro went first and was easily taken down by Mirio Izuku took a peek and saw Mirio phasing through everything in including his clothes at one point. Soon the entire class was being overpowered and beaten by Mirio.

After a couple more minutes of his class getting pulled Izuku finally finished taking notes and saw the entire class was down Izuku stretched and said "alright my turn now".

Izuku zoomed to where Mirio was standing and tried tackling him but he phased right through and turned around to see he was gone. Then Mirio popped out of the roof and Izuku kicked him sending him flying only when Mirio landed did he notice. The older student was holding his groin in pain. Izuku realized he had hit him there on accident. But Izuku spent no time releasing his flames right at his opponent.

Mirio shifted right threw the floor and threw Izuku to a nearby wall where he crashed. Mirio once again phased tackling Izuku from behind as soon as Mirio made physical contact with Izuku he would release huge barrages of flames.

Even with his defense Izuku still found himself on the losing side of the fight. Izuku found himself flying around the room crashing into nearly everything in the room. Izuku couldn't find a big enough opening to use martial arts and he couldn't use any of his smashes. Izuku turned to all of his laid out classmate Iida and released his flames straight towards him.

Tamaki was playing close attention to the fight and shuffled next to Mr. Aizawa and asked him "isn't he gonna get in trouble endangering his teammates". Shota continued watching the fight "well he would if they were in any actual danger" Tamaki looked at the teacher confused and Aizawa told him "just watch".

Mirio popped from the ground and tried to pick him up but Izuku appeared there just before and kicked him with a OFA powered kick directly in the face knocking him down.

Mirio was dizzy so when Izuku rushed him he failed to phase through the floor. Izuku tackled him but did so without activating OFA so he was instantly stopped by Mirio's superior build and was thrown across the room. Izuku's feet slid on the floor stopping and before he could leap towards Mirio he saw him gone and was knocked down by an uppercut.

Shota stopped the fight and Mirio grabbed Izuku by his suit "how could you try to injure your classmate" Aizawa pulled Izuku away from Mirio "Izuku show him" Shota put his hand out and Izuku put one of his flames under his hand and keeping it there for a good minute. Shota raised his hand showing no sign of any burns or injury. "See? Izuku can lower the temperature to the point where they become harmless of his flames something not even Endeavor himself can do".

Mirio started in realization and said "So the flames toward your teammate was a-

"Destraction... Yes" Shota interrupted.

Mirio stood in surprise realizing he the tester had himself been tested. Mirio stared at Izuku in amazement knowing that the fight was much closer than Mirio had initially thought.

Izuku looked at Shoto and asked "and why didn't you help"? Shoto looked up and said "would you believe me if I told you I was sick" Izuku laughed and whispered "sure... bitch ass".
