"NEW YORK, CONCRETE JUNGLES WHERE DREAMS ARE MADE OF, THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN'T DO." The boys sang in unison when we step out of the airport. 

"NOW WE'RE IN NEW YORK!" They all cheered, "you guys are such idiots." Mia rolls her eyes. "That's actually call actual fun." I stated in a low tone. 

"What did you say?" Mia looks at me, she didn't catch what I said. The boys were laughing because they heard it and Jordan had her earpiece on. 

"She said nothing." Zach replies, covering for me. "You're so sneaky." He mutters, patting my back. 

"Hey!" Andre got off his car, "hey, you're that guy who entered our gym and hugged Avery!" Jordan recognized him immediately. 

"Yeah because she is my sister.." Andre mutters, "what are you doing here?" I ask. "Mum's here." He whispers. 

"What?" My eyebrows furrowed, "yeah, I called Zach to tell you this." 

"It slipped my mind, I am sorry." Zach says nervously. "Avery will join you guys later!" Andre says to them, "good." I heard Mia muttered. 

I pretend not to hear it and step into Andre's car.

"Mum's here? How could it be? She's never seen us for years, and I am already 19 years old. Is she out of her mind? Why does she want to see us all of a sudden? What do I say-" 

"Avery Drew Evans, calm down!" Andre says, parking the car in parking lot. 

"How is she like?" 

"She's friendly and she looks somewhat like you," he shrugs. "Was she remarried?" I ask, "nope." Andre replied. "How did you guys find each other?" 

"Well, she's been gone for a while and got a notice that Dad was gone.. She search for months for us," 

"So, for Dad, she came back? That's somehow pathetic, Andre." I say, stepping into lift. "Why she couldn't be here before?" I ask. 

"Because she was on a very long trip, a super long one. You see, she's a scientist." 

"So she couldn't see us when we were kids?" 

"Ugh, Avery. Just appreciate she's here now." 

"Is she like me?" 

"No.. So that might be a problem." It finally reached our floor, I drag my luggage and enter the apartment. "Hey Mum." 

My heart pounded, I close the front door and turn around. "This must be Avery," The middle aged woman look at me. 

She has brown wavy hair, green eyes and she is my Mum. 

Now I know where Aaron gets his eyes from. 

"Hi." I say to her awkwardly, "wow, you guys grow up so fast." She says. 

"Hey! Avery is back!" Aaron says excitedly, he then hugs me.

I got back with the rest around evening where we meet at the beach. "So where did you go?" Erwin ask, "home." I replied. 

"I met my mother for the first time." I then added. "That's good! How was it like?" Sam ask, joining in the conversation. "Well, she is athletic." I say. 

"Oh, you totally got that from her." Zach says. 

"Erm, she's smart, she's a scientist." 

"Meh, that you don't have." Travis says.
