The next morning
Izzabeth had a big breakfast and headed straight to Lydia's room. "I really hope she'll be able to teach me," Izza said. "I'm sure you'll do great," Dennis said. "Now remember, if anything happens in there, Dennis and I will be right out here," Winnie said. "Just call out our names if Bela tries to hurt you." Izza smiled and hugged both of them. "I love you guys," she said. "We love you too Izzabeth," Dennis and Winnie said in unison. They then arrived at Lydia's door. "Wish me luck," Izza said. "You won't need luck sis," Dennis said. "You've got this." Izza smiled and entered the room. "She's like a little sister to me," Winnie said. "What about Sunny?" Dennis asked. "You know what I mean Dennis," Winnie said.

Izza looked around Lydia's room. Nobody was there. "Hello?" She called out. "Is anyone here?" Suddenly, Bela walked out with an evil grin on his face. "Oh gosh, Bela don't scare me like that," Izza said. Bela just kept walking towards Izzabeth. "Are you feeling alright?" Izza asked. "I'm feeling fantastic," Bela said, "but you won't be after I'm done with you." "Wait, what?" Izza asked. Suddenly, Bela grabbed Izza off the ground, clinching her arms to her sides. "Please say this is part of the lesson," Izza said nervously. "Oh Izzabeth," Lydia said as she came into view, "there never was any lesson except for one, never trust bat cronies or anyone they work for." "What happens if we do?" Izza asked once again with a nervous tone. "You're about to find out," Lydia said. "Yep," Bela said. He then put his claw up to . "Dennis! Winnie! Help!" Izza shouted.

Suddenly, Dennis and Winnie burst through the door in their armor. "Were you waiting for that?" Bela asked. "We're always prepared," Dennis said as he charged up an energy blast. "Drop! Her! Now!" "Make me," Bela said. "Alright! You asked for it!" Dennis shouted as he shot his energy blast at Bela causing him to get knocked back into a wall and accidentally toss Izza into the air. Winnie was able to catch her before she hit the ground. "Thanks Dennis and Winnie," Izza said. "I thought I was as good as dead." "Like I said, we'll be right outside the door if you need us," Winnie said.

"It's like I said Bela," Dennis said looking at his supposedly dead body, "you try to kill my sister, I kill you." "Well now I know to kill you first," Bela said as he opened his eyes. "How is that even possible?" Dennis asked nervously. "You're Aunt Lydia enchanted my skin," Bela said. "That weak attack won't hurt me no matter how many times you hit me with it." "Wait, she helped you?" Winnie asked. "Remember how I said Bela works for me now?" Lydia asked. "Yeah, there was more to that." "I can't believe you," Dennis said. "You betrayed your own family!" "I've hated humans since the day I was born!" Lydia shouted. "That goes for you, your father, your uncle Joey, even your sister! I hate all humans!" "Why?" Dennis asked angrily. "Why do you hate humans so much that you let Bela try to kill my little sister?" "I just respect the tradition," Lydia said, "the monsters hate humans tradition that my brother threw away just because a bunch of humans helped him out!" Dennis's eyes then changed from blue to purple. "I never thought I would use my powers against a family member," he said, "but for you, I'll make an exception!"
