Isabelle froze as she stared at the man who was her biological father and felt her whole world crumble. Queen Elizabeth felt that the duo should have a moment alone and said to the others, "Perhaps we should give them a moment alone. Come now, everyone." Isabelle watched as everyone left the room, leaving her with William. Isabelle continued to stare at her newfound father and said to him, "So, you're my dad?" William nodded and replied, "Yes, I suppose that I am." After a few minutes of staring at each other, William let out a breathless chuckle and said, "It's been so long since I last saw you." Isabelle let out a scoff and headed to look out the window. William sighed and said, "I know you must be frustrated with all this, Isabelle. Trust me, I know." Isabelle scoffed again and replied, "My life was perfectly normal until you people decided to ruin it by sending your Secretary to stalk and spy on me. And this past weekend was supposed to be amazing because we had just scored first place once again at our competition but I can't celebrate it with my friends because I am now the Queen's great-granddaughter! Now, my life will be anything but normal!" By this time, Isabelle had tears streaming down her cheeks. All she ever wanted to be was normal and now she can't. Her friends and boyfriend will most likely not want to be around her anymore. William sighed again, he knew that his newfound daughter would be furious with not being able to do the things she wanted to do but he didn't know what to say to her. Feeling the need to be alone, Isabelle scoffed and rolled her eyes as she ran out of the room, ignoring the others' calls for her. Queen Elizabeth the 2nd turned to her Private Secretary and said to him, "Follow her, Fredrick. We don't want her getting lost or getting into trouble." Fredrick nodded and replied, bowing his head before going after the long lost princess, "Yes, Your Majesty." Isabelle ran down the corridor and hid behind a curtain, seeing that Fredrick had followed her. Once she was sure that she was not being followed, she ran into another room.
She looked around the room, realizing it was a nursery. She spotted a picture on the wall, seeing it was Prince William and Duchess Kate, with the duchess holding a bundle of blankets. Isabelle found herself staring at the portrait and stared at the bundle of blankets. She noticed that the baby had a red blanket with the name 'Isabelle' written on it in gold italics. The blanket looked so much like hers at home but she wouldn't make the assumption that she was exactly their daughter, despite the DNA tests. She heard a voice say, "Your mother wanted you to have something of your own without having someone else do it themselves." She turned to see Prince William in the doorway and he came up to her, staring at the portrait. He continued, "She was insistent on knitting the blanket without anyone giving her 'no' for an answer. This was the last picture we took with you in it." Isabelle, being the curious one; said, "What happened? On that night?" William began to remember that night and he replied, "Your mother and I were waiting on the governess to bring you so your mother could nurse you. You were premature so you had to be fed almost regularly. When the governess didn't come with you, we decided to go to the nursery to see if everything was alright." Isabelle began to walk around as she took in the information. William continued, "When we came, you were nowhere to be found. I rushed to talk to your great-grandmother and she ordered a search party. Everyone searched the entire palace but they couldn't find you or the governess." Isabelle turned to William and said to him, "What happened to the governess?" William replied, "We found her outside in the garden..................dead. Gunshot to the chest and to the head. We assumed some kidnappers had smuggled in and took you, killing the governess as well. Your mother was devastated and distraught when we couldn't find you. She fell ill the next day and couldn't get better." Isabelle sighed and said, "What happens now?" William took a deep breath and replied, "Now, you will be named as third in line to the throne and we have to come up with titles for you. You will have to switch schools so you can learn about being a Queen." Isabelle shaked her head and said, "I'd much prefer the school I have now. If I leave, everyone will be suspicious and I don't want to leave. I have friends at school and I have a boyfriend." Her eyes widened when she revealed that she had a boyfriend. Of course, her adoptive parents knew she had a boyfriend and they adored him. She didn't know how her biological family would take it since they are royalty. William stared at his daughter and said to her, "I will speak to your great-grandmother about this. I think it's time that you met your mother." She followed William out of the room and down the corridor. She looked around, taking in the scenery, making a mental map of the place so she wouldn't get lost.
