Chapter 12: Isabelle Meets Her Kidnapper

Isabelle turned around when she heard Harry calling for her great-grandmother and saw Daniel following him. She rushed over to her boyfriend and said to him, "Daniel, what's going on?" Daniel replied, "I saw a figure in the shadows coming towards the palace." Harry had told the same thing to his grandmother and she went to talk to the palace guard. Kate had told the nanny to take her younger three children with her and to make sure that they were safe. Just the nanny left, the lights in the ballroom shut off which caused everyone to scream. Isabelle saw someone messing with the lights and she said, going over to where the figure was, "Excuse me, you're not supposed to be here. This is authorized personal only." The girl let out a scream when the person turned the light back on and revealed themselves.

She ran over to her biological parents and adoptive parents, causing them to ask her what was wrong. The man smirked and said, as he clapped his hands together, "Well, this is quite the turn-out, Your Majesties." The Queen looked at the man with confusion and said to him, "Who are you and what is your business here?" The man bowed and replied, sarcastically, "I am Brian French and I believe I have some unfinished business here with the princess." Hearing this, William stepped in front of his eldest daughter protectively. Brian chuckled evilly and said, "I suppose that the Prince of Cambridge has learned his lesson on not to leave his children by themselves." Isabelle had enough with the man's games and said to him, "Alright, I have had enough with your games! What do you want?!"

Daniel shaked his head, not wanting to lose his girlfriend to the creep, and stepped forward, only to be stopped by Prince Philip. Brian chuckled again and replied to the princess, "You have grown into a little firecracker, haven't you? Well, let's just say that I was the one who kidnapped you." Isabelle's heart stopped and dropped into her stomach. Sarah and Chris' eyes widened in fear. Brian began to walk around and said, "Where shall I begin the story? Thirteen years ago, the Prince and Duchess were going to have a baby and that's all that everyone could talk about. I was still dealing with my loss. My wife and child had died in childbirth because they never got the help they needed. I had always blamed the royal family for their deaths and vowed to make sure that they never got the happiness that I couldn't have."

Isabelle watched the man pace around and saw a change in his demeanor. Her eyes drifted to her biological parents who were glaring at Brian. Brian continued, "That was when I came up with the plan to kidnap the newborn princess. Of course, the governess wouldn't give her up so I had to take matters into my own hands. *His men came from the shadows* I had my men shot her with their guns and I took the baby from her." Isabelle felt disgusted and said, shaking her head, "Enough!!" Everyday was shocked by the young princess' outburst, including her friends and boyfriend. She said, "I have a hard time understanding why you came back. I found my real family and you have failed." Brian shaked his head and replied, then said to his right hand man, "This is only the beginning, Your Royal Highness. Michael, grab her." The princess' eyes widened in fear and she heard her biological father shout, as she struggled against Brian's right hand man, "No, do don't touch her!!! Let her go!!!" Everyone began to back away in fear as the gang got out their guns, keeping them away from rescuing Isabelle.
