Isabelle strolled through the palace hallways as she tried to get used to where she was going and getting used to being in the palace. As she walked, she saw pictures of her as a baby with her parents. She stopped in front of a picture with the entire royal family with her as a baby for her christening. Isabelle looked at it questioningly and she heard someone say, "Your parents wanted to do your christening a little earlier so they would have that precious moment with you in case......" Isabelle finished the sentence, not knowing who was behind her, "In case I didn't make it." She turned around and gasped when she saw her great-grandmother behind her. Her eyes widened and she said, curtsying, "Oh, forgive me, Nana. I thought you were someone else." Queen Elizabeth the 2nd chuckled at her great-granddaughter and replied, "It is alright, my dear. Come, walk with me."

Isabelle followed her great-grandmother into a garden, with confusion and curiosity written on her face. Elizabeth sat down on a bench and said to her great-granddaughter, patting the open space next to her, "Come, sit." Isabelle did as she was told and looked down at the ground. Elizabeth said, grabbing her great-granddaughter's attention, "Your father has told me that you have been distant from him and your mother." Isabelle looked up at her great-grandmother, sighing. The Queen continued, "He has also told me that you haven't called them 'Mum' or 'Dad' either. Would you mind explaining that to me, dear?" Isabelle sighed and replied, "I'm not sure if I can call them 'Mum' or 'Dad' yet, Nana. I'm not ready. I want to be able to see my parents who raised me. I want to see them, Nana." The Queen nodded and said, "I can make that happen but you have to promise me this. Give your biological parents a chance. They're trying as hard as they can. Give them a chance." Isabelle looked at her great-grandmother then nodded. She would at least try but if it didn't work, she was going to make a break for it.
