The Sound

I walked into the library and sat down on the hard chairs. I looked round the room and Sansa sat at the other side of the table.

"Oh I'm sorry Sansa, I didn't see you there" I said and jumped up.

"Sit" she said and smiled. I sat down and put my head in my hands. "It's my mother isn't it" I nodded and rubbed my head. "I come here to get some peace too you know, I can't go to the godswood like Father because I am always scared of people getting me" she giggled.

"No one would get you Sansa, they love you too much" I laughed.

"Maybe they do" She looked at my arm and I didn't realise my cut was bleeding again. "Some one doesn't like you then"

'I have many people who don't like me sister" she smiled when I said sister and started to plait her hair. Then suddenly their was a scream and a loud growl from outside. Sansa ran towards me in fear. I stood up and looked out the window.

"What is it Jon she said while holding onto the chair"

"I don't know, let me go check"

"Don't leave me Brother" That was the first time she had ever called me Brother. I smiled and hugged her.

"I have to see what it is"

"Don't go, please please please. I'm really scared" she said, you could hear the fear in her voice. I looked at the door then looked back at her. I could see her hands shaking while they gripped her blue dress.

"Fine, I'll stay. Let me just tell the guards to go find Robb and tell him about it"

"That means you will have to leave me here alone" she said and gripped her dress harder.

"You can come with me if you like Sansa"

"Can I"

"Yeah, let's go" I walked towards the door and she grabbed my arm. I felt like a normal older brother for once, it was nice knowing she did see me as her brother and not just a bastard. "Guards" I shouted. No one answered. Me and Sansa walked to the end of the hall, she gripped tighter and stopped in her tracks.

"I'm scared"

"It's fine Sansa, I'm with you" We walked round the corner and Robb ran towards us.

"Robb!" Sansa shouted and hugged him.

"Sansa what's wrong"

"Me and Jon were in the library and we heard something from outside"

"I heard it too, I have sent the guards to go find out what it was" I smiled at Robb and he smiled back. "Thank you Jon for looking over Sansa"

"Yes thank you Jon" Sansa smiled.

"Come on let's go to bed" Robb said. We walked off out of the Library and back to are chambers.
