"I'm sorry" A small voice said from behind me in the hall. "Jon, please. I beg for your forgiveness" I didn't turn around. I just stared at the black stone walls.
"So you even talk like a highborn southerner now" I laughed and looked at her.
"Jon, I wanted to tell you. Its just I wasn't sure if I could trust you yet. I'm so sorry Jon" She grabbed my hand but I suddenly moved away from her.
"You don't understand do you, you're the niece of the amazing Tywin Lannister and I'm the bastard of Ned Stark. I was stupid to even think that I had the slightest chance with you" I could see the tears in her eyes, but I had to let her go. I was going to the wall anyway so it had to happen somehow.
"Jon. Don't, don't do this. I want to be friends with you at least" She whimpered.
"How can we be friends. It was only a kiss we had, nothing more. It's not as if you love me" She was the one person I had ever loved, but I knew she didn't love me like I loved her. "If your uncle found out about us he would have my head. And I don't really want to lose my head over a girl" The tears were now streaming down her face but I couldn't be with her so I turned around and walked away. It was time for me to let go.
