My family had been kind to me for years, but I didn't fit in anymore, not like when I was a child. I had to leave, I thought about going to the wall for a long time, but I was always so scared to tell my Father. But I had decided, and I had to tell him.
I walked into his room and he was sat at the table with Catelyn. I smiled at her but she just looked away.
"Father, I have to tell you something" I said quietly.
"Yes Jon" he said while signing papers.
"I'm leaving" He quickly looked away from the papers and his head shot up "I'm going to the wall" My Fathers face saddened and Catelyn looked at him with wide eyes.
"Jon" He could barely get his words out. "What makes you want to go their"
"I want to do something Father"
"Your siblings will not be happy with this choice Jon, good luck telling Arya" He said then looked back at the papers.
"I'm going on my 19th name day, which is in two weeks, I have enough time to tell them. Let me tell them Father" He nodded and I left the room.
I walked through the halls into Arya's room, she was sat there trying to make it less obvious that she had ripped her dress.
"Jon! Don't tell Father I ripped my dress" she said smiling.
"I won't" I laughed. I had to tell her now, so she knows I will leave soon.
"Have you seen my shoe anywhere, I seem to have lost it"
"I haven't Arya, only you could loose one shoe when you had it a second ago" She laughed. "I'm leaving in two weeks Arya, to go to the wall" Arya spun round and grabbed my legs. I could see her eyes fill with tears.
"You can't leave Jon, you are my Brother, you can't leave me Jon, no, you can't leave" She kept repeating. I sat on the floor where she was sat and hugged her tightly.
"I have to go Arya, you can always visit me, and I'm not going yet. We can sword fight till I leave, I promise. You have Robb to play with aswell" She clung to me and wept on my shoulder.
"But I won't have you to play with Jon"
"Arya, you can come visit me and we will play at the wall. Think how fun that would be, we can even go on the wall" She looked at me and smiled.
"Could we play with real swords at the wall"
"Yeah, course we could" She wiped away her tears and jumped up.
"We could go ride are horses north of the wall" I smiled and nodded. I stood up and hugged her.
"I have to go tell Robb" I let go of her and walked to the door.
"I'm going to miss you"
"I'm going to miss you too" I walked out the door and put my head in my hands, it was hard telling Arya, I loved her so much.
