The more I saw Eve everyday Woking around the halls, the more I began to like being with her. Everyday I would go find her and we would walk round the godswood. It was our favourite place to be together.
After riding I walked to my rooms but Father stopped me.
"Jon, I have assigned you a maid, so you can be like your brothers more. The maid shall make your bed and wash your clothes"
"Thank you Father, but do I really need one"
"Yes Jon, it's only fair. She's in your room now tidy so I'm just warning you don't walk in and chop her head off do trespassing" he laughed then walked off. I walked into my room and I heard someone in my wardrobe.
"Hello" I shouted. I looked round the corner and Eve stood there folding my clothes.
"Jon, I'm your maid" she laughed.
"Looks like it"
"Do you want me to wash these riding clothes before tomorrow"
"Oh no, I'll do it"
"Jon, remember this is my job" she laughed.
"I'm sorry I forgot, I'm just not use to it"
"It's fine"
"Are you still up for our walks in the godswood"
"I can't anymore, I don't have time" she said sharply. While folding clothes. I didn't want to be alone again, she made me feel happy.
"Why, I'll get my Father to let you have time off!"
"No Jon! Maids aren't suppose to talk to young lords" My face was shocked. "I'm sorry" She said and walked out. I stood there in my room, alone again.
