Nightfall has arrived, the time to prepare was over. Now we had to wait until Blaze lunches a raid on the mansion. All of us had gone through the plan twice over, so we were all positioned at our spots. I was in the study room that was on the second floor, looking over at the backdoor gardens. I wasn't alone, Praxis and Theory were here too, but they were well hidden.

The plan was to have some of the male rare blades positioned in plain sight and others in secret places around the exterior of the mansion and the surrounding fields, thier job is to keep the bandits away from entering the mansion at all time. 

My harem would be all hidden throughout the mansion rooms, their role is to protect me from the four ex-Torna blades. As for my friends, they had to rendezvous with the imperial guards that were travelling by transport at a nearby city port.

"Hmm, I'm sensing a lot of power from both sides." I said as I felt a surge of strength inside my body. "I wonder why we seem to be much stronger than before."

"Maybe it's to do with when you shared your love with us one time." Praxis pondered. "By giving us your love and your warmth, it's channeled into a source of power."

"I don't think that can be the reason." Theory shook her head. "How does getting intimate, result in getting stronger?"

"Well, either way, I can't complain." I replied. "Anyways, we're to stick in here whilst all the other blades keep the bandits distracted long enough for our friends and the imperial guards to arrive. Also, even though I can feel your combined powers, I'm not linked with you both right now, Blaze has to be thrown off-guard if we wanna succeed."

The two girls nodded and stayed hidden in thier spots. Once the moon started rising to the sky, I started to hear a distant cry from outside. Looks like the battle was about to begin.

"They're here! Get ready, everyone!" One of the blades yelled from outside.

"Looks like Floren spotted them first." I hummed. "Stay calm and focused."

I started hearing outside noises of weapons clashing and voices yelling as the male blades outside were dealing with the bandits. As the battle waged on, I then felt an impact on my body, looks like the blade I was linked with was being attacked.

"Ngh...looks like Blaze has made it inside." I muttered.

I slowly turned around the moment I heard footsteps from outside before the doors opened.

"Finally, I get to see you in person again." Blaze spoke.

I sighed. "Make yourself at home. Why don't you?"

"Oh I will be, once I take your cores and acquire this mansion for myself."

I shook my head. "I guess you're all alone, everyone else pre-occupied?"

"Defending the mansion with all the blades you can could ever want was a wise choice, but even that can't stop me." He then smirked. "Especially when you have so many ladies that wanna protect their leading harem guy. I assume they're hiding everywhere?"

"They sure are, they won't let themselves be seen by you or your blades."

"Well anyway, I'll tell you one more time. If you lay down for me, I'll let you go free from this place, but this mansion and these blades will belong to me."

I smirked back at him. "You really are underestimating me if you think I'm gonna do that."

He drew out a pair of katanas. "Then prove it, show me that you can stand up to another driver whose stronger than you!"
