Wow...I couldn't believe it, I was stuffed after the settling in banquet as Sheba described it. Now I had a full stomach and not much of an idea of what to do next, apart from reminding myself that the rest of the female blades would be coming here to live with us soon.

If I don't get some exercise soon, I won't be able to fit into my clothing.

My thoughts then turned to Kasandra. I still remember the day when I first awakened her. It all began when Pupunin sold me a crystal core that one of his guards found, floating in the cloud sea. I bought it for 5,000 gold which came from Rex who got an advance payment from Chairman Bana. I was more or less his bodyguard back then.

Then, when we were on a salvaged ship, a few things happened and I found myself all alone until I remembered the core crystal I had kept hidden away. I thought that I had nothing to lose, so I awakened it and out came Kasandra who became my blade and I was to be her driver.

Ever since that moment, she and I had grown incredibly close and we were fond of each other, despite her having good and extremely bad luck which I assumed her mask is responsible for. But despite that, I thought of her as beautiful all the same and someone I had feelings for.

Although recently and even though she hasn't shown much of it. Kasandra was getting very affectionate whenever it was just the two of us. At least it was in private whereas Kora was more willing to show her love for me out in the open.

It was the start of the evening and I was standing on the balcony which was connected to the master's bedroom. I took in the calm wind and gentle breeze, contempt in the knowledge that Mor Ardain's people behind making this mansion did a brilliant job.

"Heh, if I was leading a kingdom, they would get a raise for doing this." I joked.

Just then, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come on in." I called.

The door opened and in came Kasandra and when she closed the door behind her, she showed a worried look, based on my travels, that wasn't a good sign...or omen in this case.

"Kasandra, what's wrong?" I asked as she came towards me. "Kasandra?"

She said nothing, instead she slowly put her arms around my upper back and held me close, resting her head on my left shoulder. As I put my arms around her in return and kissed her cheek, holding her close in return, I heard her sniffing.

"What's the matter?"

"I'm sorry...Y/N...I just can't wait anymore." She replied

I looked into her eyes. "What do you mean?"

She moved her hands onto my facial cheeks and then pressed her lips on mine. I was surprised to see her make such a bold move, but I let myself relax into it. I kept hold of her and kissed her back a little as our eyes closed together, nothing was said, everything was silent.

We then pulled away due to the need of me catching my breath.

"I was wondering...if you still loved me." She said quietly.

"Where did you get an idea like that? Of course I love you." I replied. "You were the first one I confessed to and you had the biggest smile I ever seen."

She wiped her tears. "Then...would you be alright if we...took it to the next level?"

Next level... we grew close, we confessed and became boyfriend and girlfriend. So next up would be getting close and being intimate...wait, oh now I get it...well, I didn't expect this.
