Chapter 8- I Won't Let You Surrender, I'll Be Your Strength!

One Week Later...

My POV-

It had been a week since Nathan's birthday, and things between us have been amazing, now that we are together like a proper couple at last. We decided that we will tell the others about us later on today, Nathan hasn't told the fans yet, they know that he has split up from Emma but not that he is now with me. I saw what the fans were like when he announced he was with Emma...some fans were horrible and some were happy for Nathan. I dread to think what they think about me ha. Emma has stayed away from us but I have this feeling that she's planning something or she won't be away for long. I am going into town with Jade today, we invited Rachel but she was busy at work. Me and Jade have decided that we would spend at least one day a week together, just us two. We have become pretty good friends, her and Jay are so cute together. The lads have some interviews on the radio and TV today so I won't see Nathan until later on. 

I was just laying in my bed, I couldn't be bothered to get out of it. I picked my phone up from the bedside table and I checked the time, it was 10:30am, I was meeting Jade in town at 12:15pm, as she had to go into work for a bit. I slowly dragged myself out of bed and I walked over to my wardrobe so I could plan what to wear. I opened up my curtains to see what the weather was like, it looked a bit cloudy so I picked out a beige blouse which had black skulls on and I can tie it up at the bottom. I also chose some blue skinny jeans to wear with some hi-tops. I made my way into the bathroom, I got into the shower and washed my hair. After I had finished in the shower I wrapped a towel around my body and my hair and I went downstairs to make myself a cup of tea and some toast. I put the radio on and turned the volume to the highest level, Coldplay- Charlie Brown was on, I loved this song. After I had finished my toast, I picked up my mug and I went back upstairs and I began to get ready. I straightened my hair and put a fringe in. I checked the time once more, it was 11:55am. I picked up my phone and I noticed that I had an unread message, it was from Nathan. It said,

'Having a boring day, wish you were here:(xxxxx'. I smiled at the text and I replied by saying,

'Awwwh, it must shit being famous ;). I'll see you tonight:Dxxxxx'.

'It is,getting free food and other free stuff is awful...but I suppose someone has to do it ;)xxxxx'

'Awwh, I'm sure you'll survive ;Pxxxxx'.

I then put my phone in my bag, and I left the flat and I made my way to meet Jade. I had good news to tell her, I've been talking to Leanne and she says that NOW magazine are interested in my work and I have had an interview with them, and they seemed pretty happy with my work. They've offered me a three month contract and if I don't like it, I can leave. I accepted the job and I now work with NOW magazine. I have been working there for about a week now and I absolutely love it.

Nathan's POV-

We had just finished one of the interviews and we had just popped in a shop to get some food, I walked past the newspapers and I saw a headline from the corner of my eye. It said,
'Nathan from The Wanted is at an All Time Low!' I picked the the paper up and I opened it up to the page it said to and it said, 

'Nathan Sykes relationship with Emma has come to an end. Has he cheated? Has his best friend, Amy, got something to do with it?'. I couldn't believe what I was reading, how did they know? Has Emma said something to them to get back at us both, I wouldn't put it past her.
'What's wrong?' Siva asked as he came over to me.
'Not really...look,' I replied as I passed the newspaper to him. Seev then looked down at the paper that I had just given him, and he looked worried.
'Things are always said when band members split up with their partners. They're probably making it up,' Siva said to try and comfort me but he wasn't sounding very convincing. Things will be better when me and Ams tell the others about us. 

My POV-

I had just got to where me and Jade were meeting which was a clock tower in the middle of town. I was the first there, my phone then felt my phone vibrate in my bag, I opened up my bag and got my phone out of the bag. It was Nathan ringing me,

'Hey Nath,' I answered.
'Hey babe, I just thought you should know...' he began to say.
'Know what?' I asked.
'There's a story in the newspaper about me and Emma, it's about us splitting up. It mentions you, the suspect that we had an affair,' he finished saying.
'Ah great. How do you think they've found out?' I questioned.
'I have a feeling that it might have been Emma but I'm not certain though,' he replied.
'Have any of the lads said anything?' I asked.
'I showed the paper to Seev but he hasn't said anything about us, I think we should tell them tonight at the flat or something, I think I would feel better if they knew,' Nathan sighed.
'I know what you mean, I'd better go now. Jade's arrived, I shall see you later,' I said down the phone.
'Okay babe, I love you,' Nathan replied. I smiled and answered,
'I love you too,'. Nathan then put the phone down. I then put my phone into my pocket.

Jade then approached me,
'Who was that on the phone?' she questioned.
'Oh...it was Nathan,' I replied.
'Awh I see, do you always say I love you too each other?' she asked.
'Ha, yeah, he was saying it in like a sarcastic way,' I lied.
'Awh I get what you mean. Shall we find somewhere to have some lunch?' Jade suggested.
'Yeah, why not,' I answered. We then walked off into the town.

Jade's POV-

Me and Ams had been looking for somewhere to eat, most places were too busy. We had been looking for about half an hour, and we had finally found a little cafe called 'Dreams Coffee Lounge', we went inside and found somewhere to sit. The waitress came over and took our orders, Amy ordered a Tomato, Mozzarella cheese and Basil toasted sandwich whilst I asked for a jacket potato with cheese and beans. Ams seemed quite quiet and a bit distant, it was like she had something on her mind. 
'Are you alright?' I asked her after our food was brought to the table.
'Yeah of course,' she replied with a small smile.
'You know...if there is something bothering you, you can tell me,' I said to reassure her.
'Thank you,' she smiled. 
'Have you not seen any hot guys around?' I asked.
'No not really. I've not really been looking to be honest with you,' she laughed.
'I think Nathan would be a good boyfriend, I just don't think Emma and him were right together,' I said.
'Yeah, we never saw eye to eye,' she replied. Then all of a sudden, these flashing lights appeared from nowhere, I turned my head and saw a load of cameras pointing at me and Ams.
'Let's go,' I said as I rushed to grab my stuff, we then headed out of the cafe as fast as we could. But they followed us.

'Amy, have you been seeing Nathan behind Emmas back?', 'Does Nathan really love you, or is he just saying it?'. 'Will Nathan the love rat cheat on you?' the press kept bombarding Ams with loads of questions, Amy just kept her head down and carried on walking.
'Shall we get a taxi back?' I wondered. Ams just nodded her head and we made our way over to the closest taxi. We got to the taxi and headed back to the flat. Amy hadn't said a word,
'Why were they asking you things like that?' I asked.
'They think that me and Nath have been sleeping together behind Emma's back,' she answered quietly.
'But you haven't...right?' I questioned. She just looked at me, and then looked away.
'How long has it been going on?' I asked.
'A few months,' she replied quietly. I always thought something would happen.
'When did Emma find out?' I queried.
'At Nath's party, she kept threatening me and I blurted it out and then she slapped me, Nathan saw and came over to us and ended things with Emma and he said that he loved me,' she explained.
'Don't tell anyone that you know,' she continued.
'Am I the only one who knows out of the the lads and girls?' I asked. She shook her head,
'Who else knows?' I questioned.
'Tom, he found us together,' she whispered. Before I could ask anything else, we arrived at the flat, we paid the fare and went inside. Amy just went upstairs.

My POV-

I just wanted to be on my own, I went to my room and laid down on my bed. I could do with going on holiday, somewhere nice and hot. My phone then began to vibrate, I had got a text from an unkwown number, I frowned and opened the text, it said,

'It's about time they found out that you're a slag!'. It was the tenth text that I had recieved today, I haven't replied to any of them. I put my phone down on my bedside table and I rested my head back down onto the pillow and before I knew it I drifted off to sleep.

Nathan's POV-

We had finally finished our busy day and the lads were off to the pub but I wasn't really in the mood so I just went back to the flat. I got home and walked into the living room to find Jade sat reading a magazine,
'Alright Jade, you on your own?' I asked her.
'Hey, no, Ams is in her room,' she replied with a smile.
'Is she okay?' I questioned in a concerned tone.
'She's a bit upset about something..maybe you should talk to her?' she suggested.
'Yeah, i'll go up now,' I smiled. I then headed upstairs to Amy's room, I knocked on the door gently but there was no answer so I quietly opened the door, and found Ams fast asleep. I slowly crept over to her and I gently kissed her on the head, she looked peaceful. I sat down at the end of her bed, and I waited until she woke up which she did about 20 minutes later.
'How long have you been here?' Ams whispered as she moved herself up onto her elbows.
'Not long babe. Are you alright?' I asked with a small smile on my face. 

She just sighed and looked at me,
'Has something happened?' I asked in a concerned tone.
'I was with Jade having lunch, and the press found us and started chasing after us, they just wouldn't leave me alone,' she began to explain but tears started to fall from her eyes. I moved closer to her and I pulled her into me and I held her close to me,
'Baby, did they do anything?' I questioned as I comforted her.
'They kept saying that you don't really love me, and that you'll cheat on me too,' she sniffed. I wiped the tear from her eyes and I said,
'I'm not going to leave you babe, I love you so much. Let me sort them out, they should leave you alone,'. She smiled and then her phone vibrated, I picked it up from her bedside table and I glanced down at the screen and it looked like an unknown number,
'Do you want me to read it too you?' I suggested.
'Go on then,' she replied. I opened up the text and it said,

'Your a slut, I bet you've slept with half of the guys in London. Nathan will get bored of you...you're a big waist of space,' I read it over and over and I felt my blood boiling, how could someone say this,
'Is this the first one you have recieved?' I asked Ams. She just looked away from me, like she always does when she is hiding something.
'Is it?' I asked again but in a more forceful tone.
'No. They don't mean anything, better just to leave it,' she answered.
'No, i'm not going to leave it, I want this fucker to be found,' I said in an angry voice.
'Nath please...I don't want to make a fuss about it, they'll get bored, if it carries on, we can try and sort it?' she offered.
'You need to tell me as soon as you get the text, O.K? I don't care where I am,' I replied.
'O.K...lay with me?' she answered as she looked at me in the eyes. I just wanted to protect her, I won't let anyone hurt her. I did what was asked of me and I laid down beside her, she moved so that her head was on my chest, I began to play with her hair.

My POV-

I was just laying there, listening to Nathan's heart beating, it was quite relaxing to listen to. 
'When do you have a break?' I asked him.
'In a few weeks, why?' he answered.
'I could do with going away, a nice hot, relaxing holiday,' I replied with a sigh.
'Where would you go if you could?' he questioned.
'I love the Canary Islands...like Fuerteventura,' I smiled.
'Ooh, I've not been there before, maybe we could go on like a group holiday,' Nathan replied.
'Yeah, that would be pretty amazing,' I responded, before I kissed him on the lips. He kissed me back but more forcefully, I smiled which encouraged him to carry on, but I then heard one of the doors closing, the others must be back. Nathan pulled away from me.
'Shall we tell the lads tonight?' Nathan whispered. I just nodded my head.

Later that night...

We were all in the living room, I was sat on the sofa with Nathan and Jade, the drinks had been flowing and everyone was a bit tipsy, Jay on the other hand, was pissed. 
'Guys, you know the article in the newspaper I showed you today?' Nathan blurted out.
'Yeah,' they all murmured.
'It's true...i've been seeing Ams behind Emma's back,' Nathan revealed. It then fell silent...kind of an awkward silence. Nathan then grabbed hold of my hand and held it and squeezed it tight.
'I knew it,' Max laughed. Nathan just looked at me and smiled.
'Also, me and Ams were talking earlier, do you fancy going on holiday on our break?' Nathan suggested.
'I would love to get away for a bit,' Jade piped up.
'Let's do it, we'll sort it out tomorrow,' Tom smiled. There was then a knock at the door, I got up to answer it, everyone else was too lazy to get up. I got to the door and answered it, I wasn't expexting to see who I saw,

'Where's Nathan?' Emma snapped.
'What do you want?' I replied.
'To speak to Nathan...so get me Nathan,' she retorted. I left her standing outside and I went to get Nathan.
'Emma wants you,' I said to him.
'What? Why?' he asked.
'I don't know, she won't talk to me,' I replied quietly bluntly.
'Fine,' Nath said as he walked out of the room.

Nathan's POV-

I got to the door and found Emma standing in the doorway.
'What are you doing here?' I snapped.
'I need to talk to you,' she said.
'About what?' I asked.
'I'm pregnant...with your baby,' she revealed. 

What? This cannot be happening!
