Chapter 4- I Won't Let You Surrender, I'll Be Your Strength.

My POV-

'My girlfriend' kept repeating in my head.

'Oh, it's nice to meet you,' I replied quietly. I should be happy for Nathan but there's something that stopping me.

'And who are you?' Emma asked bluntly.

'This is Amy...my best friend,' Nathan answered her. 

'Oh,' she said as she looked me up and down.

'I didn't know you were coming round?' Nathan responded. 

'Yeah, I wanted to surprise my boyfriend,' she said as if she was warning me to stay away from Nathan. It then fell silent, which made the situation more awkward.

'Well, I'm gonna go for a shower...' I mumbled.

'What about your breakfast?' Nathan asked. I turned to look at him and I saw that something was bothering him...but I didn't know what.

'I'm not hungry anymore,' I replied before walking out of the room.

I got to the bathroom and got into the shower, and I let the hot water run down my body, it felt so good. I just wanted to stay under there for a while, just while I get my thoughts together. Why am I so bothered about Nathan having a girlfriend? Is it because he didn't tell me...or is it something else? I might end up getting along with Emma but I suppose as long as Nath is happy...I'm happy. But if she hurts him anyway...she'll regret it. I had finished in the shower and I was feeling much better, I felt fresh. I grabbed the towel and wrapped it around my body and I looked down at the floor and noticed I had forgotten to bring my clothes in with me...Shit. I walked to the door and I unlocked it and opened it and I stood out to see if anyone was in the hallway, my bedroom was right at the other end the hallway. No-one was out there. As I was walking to my room, I wasn't really looking where I was going and I walked straight into someone...I looked up and saw Nathan standing there.

'Awh sorry,' I said as I looked at the ground.

'It's alright. Urm, can I talk to you later?' Nathan replied quietly.

'Yeah sure,' I answered, whilst trying not to look at him.

'Good...I'll take you out for something to eat...so we can talk in private,' Nathan suggested.

'Okay,' I smiled, he then walked away, I hurried back to my room.

The weather outside was sunny, so I decided to put on a flowery playsuit with a brown belt. I put some hair mousse in my hair to add a bit of volume and help keep my loose curls in. I then thought that I would give Charly a ring, I picked up my phone and dialled her number.

'Ams, it's so good to hear. I miss you so much,' Charly answered.

'I miss you too, I just thought I would ring you. I'm at Nath's, I'm gonna stay here for a bit. Maybe in a few weeks you can come to London and we can meet up, what do you think?' I suggested to her.

'Yeah, that would be amazing. What about Callum? Shall I tell him where you are, he keeps ringing the house phone and asking?' she questioned.

'No, I'm not with him anymore. Please don't tell him where I am,' I begged.

'Okay, I promise I won't. I better go, I'm meeting some friends in town,' she replied.

'Okay, have fun. I'll ring you tomorrow,' I said before ending the call.

Later that Night...

Nathan's POV-

Emma had been funny with me all day, I kept asking her what was wrong, but she would always say 'nothing'. But I'm not stupid, I know when a girl says nothing...it doesn't mean nothing. We were sat on the sofa and all of a sudden Emma started with all the questions,
