The fight with Zabuza went the same, sans Naruto slipping a scroll on Zabuzas person. They made it to Tazunas place without a problem, and laid Kakashi down in a spare room. Naruto sighed. "What is it with you and collapsing? Oh, get up Kashi. I know you don't have Chakra exhaustion. Your reserves are the same as in the future."

Kakashi chuckled and sat up. "Maa, I figured you had a plan, so I went with past events."

Naruto grinned. "Of course I had a plan! I can't let Zabuza and Haku die!" He sobered at that.

"Gato will die." he continued. "I have a clone tailing him, waiting to give Zabuza the signal. Then my clone will henge as Gato and start filtering money to Wave. He'll order the goons to destroy the bridge and, well, you get the idea."

Kakashi tilts his head. "Why not just kill them?"

Naruto sighed. "Because, as much as I hate it, Sasuke, and Sakura, both need to experience this." It saddened him, but they signed up to be shinobi, so they need to know what it's like. Especially Sakura.

Kakashi nodded. "Ah." He laid back down and "passed out." Naruto barked out a laugh, shaking his head before going to explain the situation to his teammates.

"Dob- Naruto. How's Kakashi?" Sasuke asked.

"He has Chakra exhaustion. And Sasuke, it's Kakashi-sensei, not Kakashi. Show respect." Naruto reprimanded. Sasuke looked angry, but only tched in annoyance.

Naruto then went to the kitchen, where Tsunami was bustling about, cleaning the kitchen. He cleared his throat.

"Tsunami-san? I wanted you to know that I'll be out for a bit. It won't take long. If my teammates ask, would you please tell them I've gone for a walk?"

She turned and smiled at him. "No problem, Naruto, was it?"

He nodded before flickering away.
He reappeared in a small clearing in the forest. He pulled out a hunting knife and unsealed a scroll, of which would store his prey.

He let Kuramas senses replace his own, scents becoming stronger, his hearing becoming near hypersensitive. He caught a scent and silently dashed in it's direction. He soon saw the source of the scent. It was a buck, large and proud. Yet, it fell with one senbon to the neck.

That was how the next hour went, hunting and sealing, before Naruto felt he had finally gathered enough for Tsunami.

He decided to walk back to the house, enjoying the sounds of nature.

"NARUTO-BAKA! Where were you!" Sakura screamed as she held up her fist to hit him. Naruto sighed. He had expected this but still, he had hoped...

"Sakura!" He barked. "Get a hold on yourself! You are a kunoichi! You should be calm and critical! Not screaming and raging because I went into the woods!"

Sakura looked down, in thought. Naruto sighed before continuing. "Now, I went hunting so Tsunami-san wouldn't have to worry about running out of food. I have it in this scroll."

Naruto held up the scroll before going into the kitchen, where Tsunami was getting ready to cook. He unsealed the prizes he hunted.

"Here Tsunami-san. I went hunting, so you wouldn't worry about food."

Tsunami smiled. "Thank you!" She and Naruto began putting the meat in a freezer.

That night they had deer stew, and Naruto snuck some up to Kakashi.

"Psst! Kashi! I've got food." Kakashi sat up and yawned.

"Thanks Naruto." They say in silence, the only noises being the sound of chopsticks clicking softly.

When Kakashi finished he set the bowl aside and stood. "Sit on the roof with me?" He asked. Naruto smiled and nodded, standing gracefully. They slipped out the window, and used chakra to climb up the side of the house.

There was a cool breeze in the cloudless night sky, as Naruto and Kakashi settled in the rooftop. Naruto released the henge, and leaned his head on Kakashis shoulder, soon falling asleep.
